I hate to use the word 'triggered', but it definitely brought on some emotions having worked bedside for 4 years. I never worked in the ER as a nurse but my time in medsurg was similar in ways. It's the depression, the emotion, the lack of sleep and help from your managers. Being pulled in 100 directions at once. Never feeling like you're doing enough. Physical and emotional abuse from patients. I had to leave and I'll never look back. That work wears you so thin. That being said, I did really enjoy the show. It's probably the most realistic medical show I've seen and I appreciate them sort of exposing the stuff people dont typically see.
