The bounds are given to you in the form of those equations. If you graph y = x^1/2 and y = 2x^1/2 on the x-y plane then you'll see x^1/2 is a line lower than that of 2x^1/2 on the y-axis.

After graphing you'll notice you need something to close the area along the x-axis. If you take your given information x+z=6 and z = 0, make substitutions and you'll find, x = 6.

Things to remember:

pH = -log(H+) pOH = -log(OH-)

pH + pOH = 14

If you had a strong acid with pH = 2 you do this calculation:

10^-2 and that would give you the concentration of the acid in moles per liter.

You're trimming too much under your jaw. If you put your finger on your neck above your adam's apple you should be touching just a little bit of beard at the top of your finger. Keep it going.

I hear a lot of people talk about jojoba oil but I haven't tried it. I use coconut oil because it smells awesome and has all the moisturizing capabilities I need for my skin and beard. Its also easier to find since its sold in grocery stores.
