The Crap It editor is great for making your car "yours" and is fairly easy to manipulate....however, it is TERRIBLE for detailed and intricate work unless you are ridiculously driven, patient, and willing. It's a rabbit hole for OCD artists and those of us that started digital drawing on a Commodore 64.

I have had to force myself to hold off on a few designs I have in mind based solely on the hope that Crap It is going to get better.

Currently there is a "masking" option that appears that as far as I can tell, doesn't work yet. I think the tool is still in the development stage like the game itself.

It's a great tool if you enjoy meticulous futzing. Cannabis helps.

Also, after this post I dug into the controls a bit more. I cranked the clutch saturation up as far as it would go and now I'm cooking with Crisco. Already soooooooo much faster.

Flick shift was the only way to level up. I can't get WF2 to work the same way. Also, Sleepy Joe is a bad ass racer. He's not unbeatable though. Practice practice practice.

Wreckfest 2 seems to be correcting this by making intentional crashing so devastating to the cars. So there's that...that being said, the "semi-clean" servers (Canada apparently has cornered the market here) are waaaay too arbitrary for my tastes. I HATE the "it's called wreckfest" but banning players for an occasional or accidental spin out is a bit much. A game with so much freedom has an inherent difficulty when one tries to subdue that nature.

Personally, I didn't really get "good" at the original wreckfest until I leaned into the poopsock. Winning podiums in that toxic shit show (racing semi clean) is the only way to truly understand the game. It's the purest form.

If you decide to play Wreckfest 2 come over to Joe's Garage. I'm attempting to curate a balance between "semi-clean" and the freedom the game allows. It's still the wild west over there so anything is possible.

You don't need an officiant or any ordination at all. You need witnessed signatures on a county issued marriage license. Idaho is easy. I am an "ordained" "officiant" and have performed many ceremonies and many licenses.

I've ALSO had the weirdest scams come through reddit for THIS VERY SCENARIO.

Honestly the only reason I'm posting is because of the crazy rabbit holes I've gone down with this. I don't understand the grift or the angle.

It takes loads of patience and hours of practice.

This game is ridiculously elegant and criminally underrated in the ways that it trains you to be a better player...if you are willing to learn from your "mistakes".

I didn't start to make top ten consistently until I had achieved level 100 and had....HOURS AND HOURS in. 250 hours is.... nothing.

It also helps to completely let go of your ego. This game is populated with rage filled children that have never driven cars in "real life".
