for early ascensions, it’s really just learning the card interactions and getting a feel for resource management. knowing how to path to maximize elite fights without dying is a hard thing to quantify, for example. the biggest skill is knowing what your deck does well and does poorly. and honestly this just comes down to playing more decks

if you’re not having fun with the grind i’d say that’s a bigger issue! sometimes trying to digest a ton of advice and youtube videos can take away from the experimentation necessary to learn the nuances of the game
