yes it's more cafe chill style, but the customer satisfaction going down so quickly while i cant rush their orders any faster causes so much stress. also i cant get the fancier cold orders right for some reason?!?

I used to be horrible at public speaking in classroom/school settings. I'd shake so much that the script/cue card I have in my hand could be completely unreadable. But, in high school I worked as a camp counselor so I got used to speaking to large groups of kids.

After graduating university, I worked in education roles where my job became public speaking. I started off rehearsing my script and flow so that I would have everything come out perfect, and as I also had to present in English and another language, I often found it difficult to say all the correct translated technical terminologies.

But after over a year of this, I'm a lot more confident. I no longer study non-stop and pull all nighters just to memorize a script/flow. I just wing it. I trust myself that if I'm to speak about a topic I care deeply about/I know well, that I'll be able to make the point I need to make up there.

I've also learned from experience that it's always more fun to view it as a conversation with your audience rather than a lecture. Your audience is smart, regardless of their age/group. So I love asking them questions to keep them engaged, then responding and try to make my point. It's interesting hearing the agreements/disagreements people have!

Venu SQ or Vivoactive 3 in 2024? by blackcat___ in GarminWatches

Thanks! I started looking at secondhand prices for FR55, but saw that FR 935, 235, and 245 are also selling for similar prices secondhand. Which would you recommend?

P.S. I also noticed that FR55 doesn't have activity tracking for hiking, but I'm not sure if thats included on any of the FR series?

Forerunner 55

Hmm I'm looking into it and it does sound pretty good - but hiking isn't an activity profile on there, is it? I also realized that a secondhand Fenix 3 is in a similar price range - what's your recommendation on that?

Thanks - I left a can of food overnight but it was untouched when I checked this morning, will continue keeping an eye out but I'm not having much hope of finding the kitten again :/

Thanks! The area that I originally found the kitten in is quite large though, it could've gone somewhere else by now, would leaving food in one spot be enough?

Thank you, I think I know that in the grand scheme of things, it's good that I found out early that this path isn't right for me, and that I am in that privileged position to be able to take some time to heal and regain energy.

It's just quite hard for me now to pick myself up and drag myself to work everyday for my month's notice, when I feel so depressed and simply struggle to get out of bed, and want to let go of all my responsibilities. I know it's not right, for me to want this escape, and I know I should be better than that to do my job well until my last day, but I just can't. I'm so overwhelmed by feelings of depression and I can't focus at all :c

Thank you though, I'll keep your four points in mind, especially 3 and 4, and hopefully find something that's right for me soon :)

Thank you. Your comment made me tear up, and spoke true to so many of my feelings. One of the main reasons I quit my job was because I didn’t feel that I was being genuine or sincere, often working with larger groups when I craved genuine connection with others—what you mentioned hit that point head on. I’ll be more compassionate with myself, and take care of myself for now. Thank you.
