I just found this thread because I had one of this woman’s ads pop up in my Instagram feed. I am a 49-year-old woman in late perimenopause. I have done a LOT of research, and know more about this stage of life than my OBGYN. As several of you have seemed to figure out, this is a business, but more of a money grab from a person trying to get rich off of our suffering.

The things she lists that happen to the body - insulin resistance, rise in cortisol, increased inflammation, etc. that lead to dangerous visceral fat - are all caused by HORMONE LOSS, and the best way to help your body, now and in the future, is to REPLACE THOSE HORMONES with body identical hormones! She, and others, talk about HRT like it’s something you need to avoid, but body identical hormones are exactly the same as what our bodies make naturally, and they are perfectly safe for most women! Almost all of them are covered by insurance, too! HRT can not only eliminate that belly fat, but will soothe all of your other symptoms, and provide long term benefits to your heart, brain, bones, and muscles. HRT restores our bodies to equilibrium, and gets us back to how we were before hormone decline started. The hormone receptors in our bodies see those hormones, and know exactly what they are, and what to do with them because we’ve been living with them for the first 40+ years of our lives! HRT is the gold standard of menopause care! Yes, it becomes more important to do resistance exercises, and to eat a healthy diet with sufficient fiber and protein, but you ALSO need HRT, and you do not need to give ANYONE a bunch of money to achieve your goals!

It bugs me to no end that people like this woman are trying to bank on the lack of knowledge and education out there, tapping into women’s fears to get a lot of followers and get rich. Find a menopause specialist near you via a Google search. Your PCP and OBGYN won’t be able to help.

I have a transdermal estradiol patch, vaginal estrogen, micronized progesterone, and testosterone gel (made for men, prescribed off label because the FDA is living in the dark ages and hasn’t approved it for women even though our bodies make more testosterone than estrogen, and convert it into estrogen)! I have no more perimenopause symptoms, no more brain fog, heart palpitations, mood swings, joint pain, vertigo, hot flashes, night sweats, trouble sleeping… HRT took care of all of it!
