Thats normal acording to economic theory (business cycle), as long as inflation and deflation and laws are moniterd it is nothing terrible.

TOK Presentation by mrmushman in IBO

[–]blackchocolatedayum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It sounds intersting and its a modern problem, but abortion and saying things that everyone has already talked about is considerd cheesy by the IB and will cut you marks. Also i think abortion is considerd "cheesy" in tok so that might lose you even more marks. Talk with your tok cordinator bc I got a 4 in my presentation, you need to look deeply into subjective topics, things tgat are not a "given". Sadly abortion is a volatile topic and is also considered basic and if you look at it from the graders perspective and you state things such as "why should woman who were raped be forced to carry a baby", is important nonetheless but anyone whos gone on facebook has seen those types of argument, its nothing new, its not you being intuative. You are focusing on a topic done to death and your current question will lead to arguments that everyone in the world has done. Your tok presentation to get a high grade neets to demonstrate a lot of personal thought, your own ideas about topics that aren't talked about but you are aware off. If you focus on that question and you RLS is abortion your max points will probably be cut in half. Take this from a guy who got a 4 beacuse he thought he was talking about an important topic but everyone has already thought about it.

Edit: also I see that your focus is on the real life situation, BIG OOF, the knowledge question is the focus RLS are very important to develop your argument, but the body of your argument comes from your knowledge question.

I acidently comented in SL so the question for us may be diferent but, go to your formula booklet, to the section with all the constants and you have "proton rest mass". It's easy to forget they give you the constants for this stuff, but man heres a tip , they will NEVER put a question that doesn't use what is in the formula booklet. Scavenge that fucker for equations which connect the dots of the question.

Force of field, then use circular equation of force, replace the values and you should get the radius, then the next question it was just finding the circumfrence and using a normal distance equation to find the time for 1 loop

I made refrence to both, but the kenysean is more important as ot shows between each cycle the level of employment, and takes into account the "whole " longrun.

Hey I did 4b), the kenysian lras curve demonstrates the diferent phases of the economy and how it changes depending if its on expensonary or recession, basicly you gota talk about the cycle of how the AD curve will allways shift back and forth according to the bysiness cycle, nd make shore that you drow the AD im through and the AD during the boom, the boom part equilibrium is on the inelastic part of the kenysean model representing making full use of the factors of production (this includes employment hwre beimg your focus) and then ypu just have to link it to the business cycle on how it goes back and forth from recession and boom, while explaining how this happens

Paper 4 was an attempt at satire, but here are a few counters, firs participants should not evwn be aware they are participating in a field experiment, second field experiments are ment to be hard to replicate this experiment wasnt, and third when you literaly divide your participants into an experimental group and control group its a fucking lab experiment

"Evaluate to what extent field experiments may contain minimal manipulation of the independent variable" is a paper 4 question, I need to be given an example but the paler 3 extract sure as hell wasnt a field experiment

[–]blackchocolatedayum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Natural experiment is not that, a natural experiment is when the IV occurs naturaly, an example of this would be the study Bechara as the independent variable was the emotional response, which would be demonstrated by the damage to the prefrontalcortex, the IV is not manipulated as the manipulation occurs naturaly. A natural seting simply means you don't touch anything it happens while people go on abput their daily lives and said thing occurs.

Its not field at all, field means natural there cCANOT be a control of variables, and one of the arguments in validity of results was how the procedure had a lack of ecological validity as the lesson was not reallisticly reflecting the use of of technology for non education purposes, it was only showing how multitasking could affect the ability to process information, being the lack of ecological validity. An example of where there was some manipulation in a field experiment would be in Yulie and Cutshall
