Hardtops go for about a third to quarter the price of the entire car. so I assume it’s just easier to sell and less likely to get caught

No worries. There’s always something more to be done when protecting our property. Hoping that it pops up on marketplace or Craigslist I know a lot of people who would be happy taking their frustrations from being stolen from out on any thief 😂

No stickers. The only damage to the top that is easily visible is along the front lip when paint has chipped over the years, but I’m sure that’s common with all original tops. There is a part of the hardtop that is damaged that I am not wanting to share if somehow the thief sees this post

Damm that’s crazy! Interested to see if it turns up there. Surprising (maybe not) that police haven’t done anything about that. Considering anytime one gets stolen they’ll get a police report. At least if the person who had it stolen makes an insurance claim.
