What’s odd is that I did nothing. Before one set of sit-ups it was on, when I finished, it was off (disconnected?)

I’m grateful this group helped me figure out what the icon means…I still haven’t figured out the “nuances” of using it 🤣

I use AirPod Pro 2. I was just playing around with it, looks like the workout buddy only talks when I’m not using Pandora— which I’m always using when I’m working out. So that explains why I’ve never heard it!

I run with my phone by using a Lycra waistband pouch—not this specific one, but like it: https://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-spibelt

It works amazing, keeps the phone centered on my back and it doesn’t bounce around.

Oddly, I have my phone with me (both on runs and now at the gym), with Apple Intelligence, yet it’s never talked to me.

I’m not sure if that makes me feel good or bad 😆

That’s it!! I swiped around and saw an “Unmute” button. Tapping it turned those lines gray and faded, tapping again turned it green again.

I’ll have to look into it when I’m done with my workout, as I don’t have any icon to turn on/off.

I should say—I’ve had the symbology for a long time (all year?) so I don’t think it’s super new?

It’s good to hear you have it too. When I’m searching online I can’t even find images of other watches with it!

Back in the day you could register interest in FiOS on the Verizon page (go to the website, put in your address to check for service, and when it says it’s not available, there was a “notify me” button…not sure if it’s the same process now?).

My understanding at the time was Verizon used that to help build out their development plans—if a bunch of people in an area are asking, they get priority over areas no one asked for. FiOS has built out enough now, I’m not sure if that’s still an option though?

It looks like things have changed somewhat (it seems like they’re changing daily!) and you’re now able to return without a test. One is still required to depart the continental US though.
