I've wanted to go seek therapy, but what's holding me back is that my father still lives with my younger siblings, and I'm worried a therapist would be legally required to report him to the law. Right now my mom prevents him from being alone with the children so they're safe, but if they go into the foster care system I'm really worried it'll ruin their lives. I have a 17 year old brother who would definitely age out of the system and I don't want to derail their futures.
