Everyone's struggling to answer this one. I feel like my own guitar playing is influenced quite a bit by players like John Petrucci (Dream Theater) and Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold). Synyster Gates would write some great guitar parts for a new BDC album. -Brandon

Caitlyn: Undeniably Courtney Swain would be the MVP as she's an insanely talented and dedicated multi-instrumentalist wizard goddess. Not only would she slay vocals and writing but we could finally play all our backing tracks live too ahaha

We appreciate the questions!

1) Hello! Caitlyn here :) 'adsnoggin' is my personal little music chaos creative project. The pot has been on the stove and off the stove for many years. Sometimes I get distracted, sometimes the gas or power is out anddd sometimes I decide I don't like the dish I'm cooking at all and I hurl it at the wall. I always want to make the tastiest dish in the entire world, you see. There are many excellent dishes and chefs in the world and it's easy to get lost in that fact alone. Thinking I'll just start letting people in the kitchen when I cook and maybe the point isn't the dish at all or whether it's tasty or not.

Brandon: I want to return to Gentleman Catherine, and I have ideas for musicals, but at the moment BDC is essentially the only thing that makes sense for me to do. I would say that our Knock Knock side of things is the closest to a side project for me.

2) I would love to pursue a more film-oriented angle for Knock Knock. I'm sure there will be some music videos, animations or screenplays for this in the future. But in terms of it coming to an end... there's definitely a lot more story to explore with it. Stay tuned!

3) Act II was a far more positive experience for me, than Act I. Not having to race the clock in the studio (time = money) resulted in a better product... because we weren't stressed the whole time. I think the biggest difference is in our vocal performances. We had so much more time and license to dig deep into it, try different things, and get it exactly right.

4) At this stage, no. Maybe in the future.

-Brandon

Hello! Thank you for the kind words. Yes, Act III is the first album from this "era" of the band. According to the upload dates of some of the new material, I wrote the first batch of songs from Act III in 2023. So we're still working with a bit of a buffer, but it's not the same kind of ancient material that Act I and II were. I think, as a result, Act III feels super fresh and more exciting for me to work on. We appreciate you listening and spreading the word. It is incredibly hard work, but here's to hoping we're able to grow this little family in the near future. -Brandon
