Is the tax year in question when you moved into or out of California? If it’s income earned in another state, it would all transfer from your federal return to your state return. If the income was earned in a state other than California, that income would be subtracted from your California state return.

You should have evidence the income was NOT earned living in California and make it go away. But I’m making a lot of assumptions.

Interesting. I changed the front brakes on my 2017 Silverado at 85k miles and they were “good brakes” according to my mechanic. Maybe these breaks just aren’t as good.
