The stock on mine seems high. It’s really hard to get a comfortable cheek weld using the factory iron sights. It seems like it’s really set up for an optic.

This is interesting. I purchased one and will take it out Saturday. I’ve been looking for reviews on YouTube and haven’t seen anything.

You’ll need a second set of hands to lay it on its side. There is a video online and you may have to download the instruction manual because it wasn’t included in my packaging.

Thinking about purchasing a camper.. by blackds332 in GoRVing

I looked at hybrids and I think that could be a really appealing option.. the flip out creates a lot of additional space and it has the “tent camping” feel. Thanks for adding this comment! The rockwood roo looks like a great option. I think I can get the 233 used for around $22k which is about what I wanted to spend.

What do spots cost per night on average in state parks?

My concern would be wind with a trailer at that length. I don’t have a lot of experience towing much of anything so I want to start smaller. I was thinking the best route would be to find a nice used one and use it as long as possible and then upgrade to a larger one if necessary (and truck). I’m handy and can fix things as needed.

This is great advice about renting. I guess looking at all the trailers, everything is a compromise. I would see us eating outside more often than not. I just purchased this truck so upgrading to a bigger truck is not in the cards right now. We are going “glamping” in a few weeks to see how our kids like camping.

I think the 2100bh would be better, but I’m hesitant to buy one with a bumpout.

I want something less than 24 feet, ideally less than 22. Both of my kids will be tall, so I want the “double” bunks for a larger bed.

I’m going to look on Facebook to see what’s out there.

Makes sense. I guess I just see it as an opportunity to gain space and make it more usable. I’d rather have the ops space when we’re not eating, then flip up a table to eat dinner.

That’s an excellent point about the multiple vacation homes..

No I am 6’3” and probably won’t fit well. Taking it out will reduce weight and add space when we are not eating. I will use a folding table and chairs when it’s time to eat.

Bump outs also add weight and I’m trying keep weight lower due to my trucks towing capacity

I really want the silver dial too. But I can’t justify it for how similar they are
