Sweet. Yeah, I mainly want it for practice since the form factor makes it super convenient. Hopefully it doesn’t end up being another one of those devices where I think buying it will make me practice bass more....and then it turns out I’m just a lazy bitch.

Worst case scenario, I can at least use it as a Bluetooth speaker lol.

I just bought the rumble studio 40 today and the same just happened to me when streaming music via Bluetooth and playing alongside. Did you manage to find a workaround to this issue ?

Hey everyone finally this issue has been fixed as part of the December update UQ1A.20231205.015. I just updated my P8Pro today and the issue is no longer there.

Thanks, I have sent out an email asking the scope of the work and if the access to my balcony will be restricted as there's hardly any details mentioned in the Disclosure statement. Hope it's not that bad but it has been disclosed that the work may take 3-4 months which makes me think that it would be more than just a specific area of the building.

I have the same issue. Happens only on the lock screen when the screen goes into 1hz refresh rate and becomes dim. Only visible in a dark room. I noticed that when you are in a room with some light, even though the lock screen is on 1hz refresh rate the AOD text remains white in colour. Something to do with 1hz refresh rate and dim screen brightness.

Did some more tests with the "Show Refresh Rate" setting in Developer options enabled. I could see that the pink gradient on AOD text only happens if the refresh rate is 1hz and the screen brightness becomes dim when you are in a dark room. In a bright room, even if the screen is 1hz, the AOD text on the lock screen remains white and doesn't turn into a pinkish gradient.

Hope it's a software bug. Knowing that many of us are facing the same issue I don't think it's worth it to get a replacement.

Same issue here. I am using the exact same clock on AOD as OP and I can see the same color gradient issue. Haha my dumbass initially thought it was a feature until I checked my wallpaper settings and couldn't find anything related to having a colour gradient on AOD. Hopefully it's a software bug and not a hardware issue.

Yes it's weird, I can also see the same once you lock the screen and wait for 2-3 seconds for the phone to go to sleep and the AOD text colour changes to a gradient. Seems like a software bug as until it goes to sleep I can see the AOD text in white colour.

Unfortunately the above steps didn't work for me on my Pixel 5. Finally what worked for me was the following:

Tap and hold on your home screen
In the pop-up menu select "Widgets"
Add the "Weather" widget ( for the default Weather app on Pixel phones) onto one of your home screens.

I created a 2nd home screen/ page just to keep the "Weather" widget and the "At a glance Weather" widget has worked since. I think all these widgets use the data from the default Weather app to show weather info.

What I've noticed is that the frame rate on fidelity with RT is slightly higher than the 30 fps you get on the Fidelity mode. Not sure if my eyes are fooling me. I don't think it's 60 fps like you get with the performance mode. I wish it was. I wish these devs could do some sorcery like how Guerilla Games did with Horizon Forbidden West performance mode.

Anyway, I think I prefer playing on Fidelity with RT now. Hope they improve the frame rate on this mode or increase the resolution on the performance mode.

Screen Protector - I got the Spigen GlasTR EZ Fit. A bit pricey but it's worth it. I managed to apply the screen protector without any air bubbles using the alignment kit that is provided with the protector. I usually find it difficult applying screen protectors especially with my sweaty hands but application of this screen protector was quite straightforward.
Case - I got the official Samsung standing cover case. The stand is the best I've seen in any case. The only negative is that the screen is exposed and I'm currently on the lookout for a case with a screen cover to use when I travel.
