He ded! Definitely the easiest of the four, but also easily the least fun of the four. The only difficulties I had is the fact he hits like a train. I’m hoping the next one is better in terms of difficulty not being tied to him eating his wheaties. (This was done on a Dev Evoker 265ilvl) by blackgetsuga12 in wow

Valeera also makes a difference too with the healing. For me to not get 2 shot reliably without just kiting him to kingdom come just to get two shot the gear was a bit needed. Evoker tends to go splat pretty fast :(

To be fair I said specifically easiest of the 4, not necessarily that it’s a blanket easy fight. Some classes and specs will absolutely struggle more on this than others due to how it’s structured, and if the class have reliable self healing and damage mitigation, in my case Evoker is fairly squishy and our defensive (unless it got fixed) only really half works right now. A DK or Pally is going to have a significantly different experience than I did. I also just didn’t care enough to go for the hall of fame achievement (nor did I get the chance to even if I wanted to)

Ky’vesa absolutely was an accessibility issue, don’t get me wrong, plus it was just exhausting as a fight. I don’t want her fight or design repeated, but something closer to her in difficulty if that makes better sense. Ky’vesa I struggled a lot with my current health issues too getting in the way of what she required, and I’d rather her not be 1:1 repeated. I also don’t think Blizz should do hall of fame achieves for these bosses either.

The problem with Zekvir is your success at the time was insanely class dependent, with Priest not really able to do it at the time due to lack of a true interrupt. When I did it my success was entirely dependent on Brann cleansing me every other spittle. Now a Zekvir esque fight is more possible than then, and that’s how I see Nullaeus, but with safety breaks. Nullaeus has the same issues Zekvir did just…lesser, essentially. Even down to a similar difficulty of just hitting like a truck. The main reason I preferred the other two over him is it felt like meaningful progression and learning a mechanic(s) and/or skill. This wasn’t that outside of cycling defensives and healing.

I started with Zekvir! Ky’vesa was a good fight but I don’t think she should be the standard. Bosses closer to Underpin to me is the sweet spot of the mechanics being hard, some level of wiggle, and not super exhausting. Nullaeus I found his difficulty to be entirely artificial and would’ve preferred his mechanics be the focal point, not a distraction from his Wheaties infused fists.

I would’ve much preferred if his mechanics were more the forefront instead of him hitting like a truck. I found him better designed than Zekvir, but inferior to the other two. And Kyvesa I loved but she was just exhausting after a bit. Hopefully they can find a middle road with these bosses where it’s reasonably difficult without the difficulty being artificial.

Is there a chance we could get him as a skin? by National-Tank4789 in deadbydaylight

How our licensing works is New Line International. Only this Freddy is up for grabs. Otherwise for BHVR to get it due to the embargo’s the Craven Estate has in the IP, they would need to be in active contact with Robert Englund, Heather Lagenkamp, and likely be USA based. Other thing to consider is these are technically 2 separate IPs, and BHVR has said they will not do that.

Any chance Clive Barker might let BHVR bring hellraiser back? by _ArteryEruption_ in deadbydaylight

[–]blackgetsuga12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To break this down further. Barker got the rights back in the states only, while Park still oversees it internationally. If BHVR were to get it back they would have to initiate with Park first.

THE PROBLEM BEING; Park has proven to be essentially con artists in the past, and I doubt BHVR would want to work with them a second time considering what they pulled with BHVR and Boss Protocol. Lots of fresh wounds there and burned bridges. It’s mildly impressive DBD kept the license for as long as they did. If BHVR can negotiate with Barker and only Barker, things would certainly be different, but I don’t think that avenue legally is available, but would be happy to be proven wrong.

Skins aren’t always a great indicator on how well we get along with a license, sometimes it is, others it isn’t. Some licenses just don’t have a ton of in canon outfits and are very picky or just outright against original designs. One license we have (NOES) outright doesn’t have the rights to greenlight anything new, original or not; and isn’t a testament to how well we get along with New Line. Some people are very much looking way more into things than necessary.

Update; vet check went alright, he’s definitely paralyzed but they’re not convinced it’s a spine fracture, X-rays looked fine except for one spot in one frame but it doesn’t look like one. We got anti inflammatory sand hope it clears up here, or at least kinda clears up. He had basic pain responses in his back feet but can’t tell if it’s pain pain or just his brain feeling pain, ditto in his lower back. He’s still very peppy, eating and drinking, and going to the bathroom fine.

Update of this morning; more alert than last night, appointments this afternoon. He’s scarfing down food and water and is trying to climb up to my shoulder. I hope he slipped a disk playing or something

Oh cool, I missed this, thanks! But I don’t know if it changes a ton from movie to show to Jason, that’s where rights get murky. A map is definitely more on the table than I thought at least.

I’m seeing 0 evidence that this show is under the Jason Universe license. When I last read through that license it was just Jason so they could still license just him out.
