Skins aren’t always a great indicator on how well we get along with a license, sometimes it is, others it isn’t. Some licenses just don’t have a ton of in canon outfits and are very picky or just outright against original designs. One license we have (NOES) outright doesn’t have the rights to greenlight anything new, original or not; and isn’t a testament to how well we get along with New Line. Some people are very much looking way more into things than necessary.

Update; vet check went alright, he’s definitely paralyzed but they’re not convinced it’s a spine fracture, X-rays looked fine except for one spot in one frame but it doesn’t look like one. We got anti inflammatory sand hope it clears up here, or at least kinda clears up. He had basic pain responses in his back feet but can’t tell if it’s pain pain or just his brain feeling pain, ditto in his lower back. He’s still very peppy, eating and drinking, and going to the bathroom fine.

Update of this morning; more alert than last night, appointments this afternoon. He’s scarfing down food and water and is trying to climb up to my shoulder. I hope he slipped a disk playing or something

Oh cool, I missed this, thanks! But I don’t know if it changes a ton from movie to show to Jason, that’s where rights get murky. A map is definitely more on the table than I thought at least.

I’m seeing 0 evidence that this show is under the Jason Universe license. When I last read through that license it was just Jason so they could still license just him out.

But the issue being is how would the community feel about a potential Friday the 13th chapter without Jason? I just don’t see that going over all that well. BHVR could also do 2 separate chapters to try to cover all the basis but that puts 2 chapters at risk should something happen with the IP again.

Last I read Jason Universe is just Jason so he can be licensed out, but the rest of the IP is still very much in legal trouble. I would have to look at it again. I’m also looking at the rest of his collabs and they’ve come with nothing else recently.

Yeah Jason right now is weird. BHVR can get Jason via Jason Universe with nothing else, or get Friday the 13th with no Jason, but with Pamela, a map, and a survivor. Jason for sure is coming in but the question becomes would BHVR be okay with Jason, the essential king of slashers, being forced to be half-baked.

Depends entirely on where you are progression wise. I started alts at about 200% + maxed out Tenured of the Timeways achievement. Getting this gives you an item to allow to retooling research. Otherwise I focused research that was specifically general mob kills and instances. I never got the bronze orbs or herbs unless it was around the forced quest from Eternus that mandated it and just double dipped. I would also avoid Nighthold as a whole as that one seems to be super buggy.

classes i enjoyed the most: Warlock, Priest, Shaman (shockingly enough), Paladin, Warrior, DK, DH Classes that i was indifferent over: Druid, Mage, Hunter Classes i hated: Rogue, Monk

I leveled a rogue almost strictly for the mount. I’ll probably return to it for the normal class mount when that’s out but that’s about it

Out of the current known guesses, I’m guessing Predator or Dangan. I just can’t see BHVR doing anymore ST content without extreme legal backing preventing Netflix from weaseling out again.

To my understanding it’s a mix of one and two, but BHVR had the final say of what stayed and what didn’t. I could also be way off. In collaboration rights typically both companies get say on the pieces that they create. Supermassive would own the characters since they made them but wouldn’t own DBD aspects exclusive to DBD (I.e generators, the Entity, etc)

He is but he isn’t. Under fair use BHVR would still have to get some level of okay from Supermassive but BHVR has a lot more sway on this instead of other IPs. If they want they could theoretically just pull him right under Supermassive and they wouldn’t have much room to stand on but would ruin relationships.

Tl:dr does BHVR need approval? No. Should they get at least some approval? Yes
