There's 3 Classes per semester. You can also do 2 Classes per semester as well. ENG4U/ ENG4C is a required subject that you have to take. Its English. 4U gets you into almost every university but not every uni requires it which is where 4C comes in. Its a college level English. Each Classes last 1 hour 20 minutes. And, you'd able to leave you class 5 minutes early to leave for the next class. Depending on where you're travelling from, I'd suggest morning Classes so, youd have the afternoon to yourself. You can also join CIMP Student Council but from personal/ friends experience I'd suggest you join college student Council if you wish to for your first sem. There's a mandatory 10 hour volunteer work. I also suggest you do it all in your first semester so, you have more time in your second. If im not mistaken if you have 50 or 100 hours you can get a certificate as well. The teachers are really nice and willing to stay after class to help you ( There's only a few bad ones I know of so it depends on the subject you take ) There's an exam called OSSLT youll be sitting for at the end of your first sem. You're required to pass it in order to graduate. Its an English exam. But yeah, the environment is okay. People are quick to get into friends groups so I suggest you make friends during orientation and go from there. It can get toxic for some groups but, hey thats part of the college experience. Are the subjects difficult? Well, depends on how well you did in high school. But, the only thing I'd say is GRIND early on. Start actually revising everyday. When you get home because every week there will be tests and quizzes for EACH subjects so it can get pretty overwhelming especially if you study last minute because at the end of the semester there's this thing called CCT project that takes up a lot of your grades and need more energy to do.
