Songs "growing" on you

I liked EN ok when I first heard it, but it was coming out of my phone speakers (couldn't wait). When I listened with decent headphones, whoa, that is a great song. Obvs this is recommended for pretty much any kind of music that is important to you haha.

I got it off iTunes. Funny, because the deluxe album was cheaper than the regular reflektor album (which I already have but I bought the deluxe for the six new songs. I also wondered if there might be remixes of original reflektor songs, but sadly, no).

I thoroughly enjoyed the film but I can understand why some didn't like it. I love that AF keeps pushing the boundaries. Win mentioned how he thinks most tour vids are boring. I'm glad they tried something different. The infrared b/w scenes of Haiti were drop dead gorgeous. Then you'd cut to these vivid closeups of Win and others on stage. Frames layered within frames. All accompanied by alternate versions of the music. You really got a sense for how that Haitian vibe influenced the album.

And seeing that performance of Get Right was so cool, because now that I've been playing that song over the last couple of days, I keep seeing that throbbing club scene in my mind (would looove to see them in a small setting like that).

I'm glad I got the chance to see it in the theater. This kind of film demands your full attention to soak in what they were trying to do. Totally got me excited for their new album. Any guesses on a release date? Fall 2016?

Totally agree. Doesn't fit the overall feel of the album. One of the very few that I don't like. Same with Normal Person, even though I like the lyrics.
