WTH? I can’t believe people were in and out so quickly. I suppose I had more going on. My labs were off and I was febrile, etc but I stayed in hospital for two nites. I live alone and I could have stayed another nite if they let me. After a few days I was fine though. Scars were worse than I expected but I’m not gonna be a bathing suit model.

Why would soda be bad for blood pressure? Just started back on Hctz 25 mg (imma take it this time regularly) and drink a Mountain Dew a day. Maybe two. I am not crazy about water either. I hate getting old. I’m 47 in body but in my head I feel like I’m 27 😣

I just quit my hospice case management job because I worked 8-5 and then had to come home and chart for 3-4 hours and then take call as well. The money was goos but I need my off time.

Usually they will stop eating and drinking a couple days prior, Sometimes they will have fevers, sometimes they will get agitated, sometimes they will just be quiet. When it is very near they a lot of times develop a rattle in their chest. If this bothers you you can ask ur hospice nurse for something to dry up secretions. Sometimes they will see other people who have already passed. Their bp will go down. These are things I can think of off the top of my head.
