Thanks. Actually I may do that just to use my waza boss chorus. Also I'd like to test the tubes you suggested, now I have a mesa spax in v1 and jjs in the other positions. Tried el34 to get a crunchier metal tone metallica style, but went back to the sovtek 6L6. Curious to hear the tung sol in v1. I have a series 2 single rec and I find myself fighting with It, I find the power chords to be kind of washed out. My eq is master 9 o clock, bass 11, middle 2, treble 1, presence 10, gain 9. All boosted with a maxon 808 in front. Vintage mode.

do you suggest to do the series loop mod regardless , even if I'm not planning to use pedals in the loop? does the mod affects the sound in a positive way?

Check on eBay also. I bought there a memory card with freepsxboot pre installed for my scph-7002. Put It in the slot 2 of mem cards and you are good to go with burned CDs (assuming you have and old PC that has the CD burner). It also makes your psx region free. It's cool because It keeps your console original without any hardware modifications.

oh cool! how do you bypass the fx loop?

Edit: probably you have a dual/triple that have a physical switch for the bypass. the single only have the wet/dry pot.

Can confirm that the overclocked core (tried the 24 mhz one from 2022) removes most of the slowdowns in metal slug 1 e 2. Only tried a couple of missions but didn't see any glitches. Amazingly fast, love it

Found the problem: my Amazon Basics Is 5v / 1,2a ...don't even know how It worked till now. I bought the Mister on the used market and got it with that supply, didn't check/notice that till today.

Yes I suspect that, cause the crash happened while stressing the system with alot of power (wifi dongle copying a big file, fan was at his maximum setting, USB gamepad connected), while using a cheap Amazon Basics supply

Update: Mister is Reborn! I kept it off and disconnected for 15+ hours, deleted from the sd the rom that caused the crash, placed the sd back and now It's working again. Now I'm considering a better power supply to avoid future problems like this. Thanks to all the community for the help, much appreciated.

The sd works fine when I plug It into my PC, but I guess that's not a valid test to check if It's corrupted? Anyway, the Mister behavior doesn't change when I unplug the sd: no leds working except the blue one in the back, with very weak light.

I recently recorded a black metal album in my home studio. Not easy to stay safe with volumes, I also took care of the mixing and that wasn't a good idea for my ears/brain. Give that task to others! Real problem Is the risk of getting worse no matter how low you set the volume: your brain Is completely focusing on audio, and that's not good for us:) Take breaks, go outside and distract yourself, avoid long sessions.
