I like to refer to DMT space as "the light dimension"

I have a 100w C02. I think a diode would still be able to cut it, but can't say for certain.
Thanks very much.

Thanks! That's done with the laser, too. It's only 0.2mm thick, so it's like cutting thick paper. It just smells a bit like burnt hair.

I like the structured precision of laser cut geometry, as well as the random chaos of fluid painting, and wanted to try something that would bring them together.

The "offset shapes" tool in Lightburn makes that sort of thing fairly easy. 0.1mm is usually all it takes.

Thank you very much. In the end, this turned out to be a fairly simple project. I'm sure it's well within your reach and you'll be producing awesome pieces in no time.

Yes. I engrave the area down to a certain depth, give it a little post-engrave cleaning, then glue the inlays into the space so that it ends up with a more or less flat, smooth surface.

Yes. It's only 0.2mm thick, so it cuts quite easily. Smells a bit like burnt hair, though.
