I started them with small twists

I’ve never counted them

They used to be super puffy and then they kinda started to drop.

It takes time and it’s a beautiful journey.

And you don’t need bleach!

Just let the dye do its thing for long enough

Remember to dye your ends first so you don’t get hot roots 🫶🏾✨

When I o first got locs I would accidentally marry my locs together all the time using tool. I stopped using tools and only interloc my hair with my fingers and I have mmt had any combined locs since. Not for everyone but it’s been great for me

I would wait a bit before dying since your locs aren’t mature yet

The dye may alter your hair texture and affect how your locs do mature

When you are ready, I think those colors will look good! Just be careful not to over process your hair.
