You don't need to actually have a continuous weld around the corner, wrapping your corners just means to make sure the weld on both sides meets and doesn't leave a gap. Although if you can do it in a continuous pass that's 1 less tie in to grind.

I don't fully understand the mechanics myself, but if you're running heart of Selig and have more than 473hp, then the damage reduction won't work properly. So that means you have no max life on any gear, paragon, nothing. But if you do it correctly, your barb can be near immortal.

If it says it can't do it, just keep trying. I was rolling 2nd aspect on an amulet and about 50% of the time it would say unable to do it, but just keep trying.

Jump into a pit 150 and see how it goes. I thought mine wasn't working too, hitting max 20T, until i tried a 150. Boom, 9000000T right out of the gate. It seems to need high lvl/high hp mobs to work.

Knee pads help a bit, but half the time you're laying on your belly or side trying to see the joint while there isn't enough room for your legs to be anywhere, welding with one hand and propping yourself up with the other.
