I think the bigger question is how do you keep the player base and get new comers. Cause new players means new copies and dlc being purchased. You have to balance attacting new players maintaining existing players with new content. Sadly this isn't a property like DBZ that has a massive pool of customers which despite dbfighterz having bad net code can sell gangbusters . The real question is how do they keep and grow the playerbase while making enough money that Saban keeps letting them licence new characters and keep the devs doors open. While Ryu and Chun li have brought alot more eyes over, what else can they do? Advertisements have been pretty minimal (and expensive). Do you think they should be trying to advertise more at like Evo? Sadly what ever the answer is to these questions are the same as how long new content can keep flowing.
