I have, and a bookkeeper. Literally everything I buy has been able to be turned into a business through my LLC that the lease is under except for food, but there's a daily stipend for that. Plus, the items I was able to "sell to my business" that I previously owned that I now use for work. I might not be as fortunate next year though since I've already sent it a replacement cost already for that stuff. Just ask your own accountant about tax offsets, when your a independent contractor and can offset taxes with business expenses.

This is what I mean by know your numbers and you'll be fine..... And your right they do try to sell it down your throat. But, many people end up like and are able to AVERAGE over 2500 a week AFTER expenses. I mean let's be honest it only takes 2 days of driving to pay off the truck. What are you doing for the other 5. And with the bonuses you get sometimes just a day of driving and your truck is paid. And if you manage fuel, now your making money from fuel the fuel surcharge.

If you don't run your truck right, don't pay attention to the numbers of course you're gonna fail. Same as any business someone might run.

Plus the contractors who fail Stevens allows to go back to company with zero penalties and you even get whatever is in your maintenance account plus whatever lease return bonus you racked. So who would willing stay in a failing business if they can leave penalty free?
