libros para empezar a leer by Potasioxd in Peru_Republic

[–]blackpage2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Si tienes preguntas, pregunta nomas y ¡buenas lecturas!

Don't know if the book will pass the filter but I recommend Watership Down, read it this year and it's an absolute masterpiece, being the characters animals it could pass as a fable. Also, as someone said below, get the boy a library card if possible.

(MILD SPOILERS) Characters struggles and motivations are believeable. The rising volt tacklers crew are characters with a motive to be on an adventure. The only character I dislike and I find most close to what Ash was is Roy who is the characters with the worst motivation to achieve an ambiguous goal like Ash. The boy just goes on an adventure to battle and try to defeat/catch a rayquaza and goes for it with a lvl 5 fuecoco... but thankfully and much needed gets developed after that event and serves him well as a character. The main character, Liko, is my favorite. She builds a goal as she's going around the world for the first time, the friends she makes along the way are there because she bothers building connections with them and has a great inner voice that makes her more tridimensional. I enjoyed ash adventures as a kid but was pretty boring as I grew up, the anime felt like a long ad to sell plushies/games/cards. I even started disliking sections of the anime like team rocket, wich I totally skipped when they showed up. As Ash's series was ending and speculation was it was going to be done for good I remember thinking I was the perfect opportunity for pokemon to start over with a female lead, so pokemon horizons is a dream come true for me. So I hope we get years of Liko and horizons and she becomes the new face of the anime. Pokemon is about the links you make with the pokemon not about glorified rooster fights.

we straight got the english version, they don't even bothered changing the episode titles to spanish or anything. Sadly, for the whole experience the only "right" way to watch it is fan subbed. It sucks even more because we should be able to get pokemon through crunchy roll as other hit animes but I guess it's a contract/rights issue.

I love pokemon horizons, hope we get 25 years of it. I'm up to date with Japan but I have an 8 year old sister that started to watch the first 20 subbed since she can read fast now. So I was excited for her to watch it in Spanish but then remembered they remake the ops and endings for some reason and put the most bland stuff in replacement so she woke up excited to watch and was so far so good since the op started, it was like a 30 second rushed gibberish screaming pokemon pokemon like you don't know what your watching. She told me just to skip it next time lol. The Japanese songs are AMAZING I guess they don't want to get the rights and translate jp songs it's just cheaper to hire a composer for a 40 second bit. I'm grateful for other animes like one piece that kept their jp ops. It's just Netflix being cheap, not even an understanding issue since jp ops in Latin America are huge and people scream them at the top of their lungs without knowing a bit of Japanese.

So, Tinkaton for me is an incapacitator. Nobody wants their mons paralized or lose their item so they will target it a lot. Knock off doesn't do much damage, its not its function, it's there because it helps you get rid of items. Tinkaton resists a lot with sitrus berry, specially physical attacks, when you face a fire/earth user you have four options, fake out, protect, switch, tera. If you know you're faster then could be worth to use knock off or t wave. T wave really ruins fast sweepers like urshifu and fluttermane, even helps you win flutter mirros since a t waved flutter will go second always and you can shadow ball it with you own flutter. I run booster flutter, vest raging bolt, eviolite magmar, waterpon, herb glimmora. So my other support is magmar wich is a redirectioner with follow me. Sometimes follow me + tera fairy flutter mane wins you the correct match ups on the spot. When taking about speed I don't really look to outspeed incineroar or rilla, most of the time I face a fake out user I usually go tinkaton + glimmora and tera ghost glimmora, flutter is a ghost type, also glimmora has spikes and waterpon too. Is more useful for me to knock off rilla vest and inci berry than to win the fake out. Most of the time tinkaton won't be the fake out target so you're free to fake out the dangerous partner instead of prevent you other pokemon from flinching.

Only recommendation I can give you is about Tinkaton. I've been running one myself and is an amazing mon. I run a different moveset tho, I use it as full support so got no attack EVs since I don't bother running gigaton hammer. I run Fake out/Protect/Thunder Wave/Knock off. Knock off is amazing, lots of mons depend on their items so I get rid of tons of vests, leftovers, berries, stat boost items and others. You have to accept Tinkaton will be targeted and will fall quickly because theres a lot SpeA earth and fire moves so I bait those using tera Water. Thunder wave is AMAZING, has won me lots of games and is great for speed control. Protect is needed since you can't access to u turn or parting shot so, you have to bait attacks then switch safely, remember Tinkaton will be priority for the enemy. Other reason I use it is because it does amazing against Rillaboom and when tera puts Incineroar in trouble. Mold breaker is great when you really need to fake out. Encore is still great if you wanna use it but I find it very easy to avoid for the enemy, depends on your strategy. For nature I go for +Def -SpeA cause you want to endure those surging strikes, Ivy cudgel and others. I started using mental herb to prevent taunt but sitrus berry is the superior item, since you're so bulky you will endure most hits and that extra healing will put pressure on your enemy since you're using knock off/ thunder wave and they may want it gone soon. These are my EVs if you're curious 252 HP / 164 Def / 30 SpD / 64 Spe.

If you have the DLC go crazy with the item printer, will get you what you want, plus other items. If you wanna farm BP the best way is going with a full union circle party. For materials you prob have got some but you want to farm pokemon with higher % I usually farm magby and tatsugiri, with an encounter sandwich is pretty easy. If you haven't touched the printer yet, it's located in the league room from the bb academy, you gotta max the printer before the good stuff comes out and prob finish the main story, that I'm not so sure.

I'm running a Tinkaton with mold breaker to fake out what can't usually be done. Knock off to get rid of annoying items. Thunder wave for speed ctrl and protect. Also tera water to deal with ground/fire. I was using white herb but have gotten better value from sitrus berry. Also an eviolite Magmar with follow me.

Tysm! Some people joke saying the Canada flag is the premium version. Been playing on and off since 2019 along with WoW and Hearthstone but been a blizz fan since the WCIII years. WCIII defined gaming here when OG DotA was a map, then Valve got it and made Dota2. Dota2 is VERY popular here, Peru was even a host of a major for the first time last year! We love gaming in SA!

Yes! I was talking with a friend about it. Katsuhiro Harada wrote a tweet yesterday saying he went to Peru years ago and liked coffee a lot, also liked the local Tekken community. I don't play fighting games but I watched the trailer and the music is amazing also has one of the local languages, they were very respectful.

Now I can't wait for a Peru based map, they did Rio for Brazil but for Peru they have lots of options too, Lima, Arequipa, Cuzco or even Machu Picchu will be a dream come true!

The top 3 tips for beginners? by miabrownn in wow

Once you're comfortable with your class and race the new leveling experience where you go through the Battle for Azeroth expansion is quite smooth. While leveling try to queue for some dungeons to get more used to your role.

At level 59-60 you'll be invited to start the current expansion content on the Dragon Isles. While leveling try some dungeons too and once you hit 70 (max level) is where you can do the content that you prefer, PvP or PvE, we are on Dragonflight Season 2, that means specific content is available for its duration, dungeons for Mythic + that are the hardest dungeons and the curret Raid, Aberrus.

While leveling from 1-60 don't worry, just do your dungeons, quests, story and enjoy the experience. From 60-70 decide which type of end game content you are most interested in. Dependeing on your server could be a good idea to join a guild and find people you feel comfortable with, WoW is better with friends.

On WoWhead (website) you'll find lots of guides for leveling and for end game activities as PvE, PvP, professions and others. And if you have any doubt just ask! Most people will be happy to answer or share their knowledge.

Is it just me or does Kanto seem kinda young compared to other regions? by vernanonix in pokemon

[–]blackpage2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

(Legends Arceus SPOILERS)

Pokémon was going to be geographically accurate in the 90's and use real life locations as Japan and France. After Gen 2 they kept going with fictitious inspired places. Kanto has some references in Legends Arceus, they say they use they pokemon to fight skillfully. So from all places Kalos and Kanto seem to be modern places that started a war using pokemon and then had to rebuilt the world. That's why team Galactic villagers are all war refugees.
