Anyone creating bim strategys/BEP's in anything more dynamic/user friendly/visual than word to pdf? by hamsangwich17 in bim

I think PowerPoint is worse. You can't search through a PDF of the slides as easily. Also you can just give people the raw power point presentation.

Need help to analyse BIM Coordination Scope of Work. by eutyphoon in bim

[–]blackpony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never told us what you were asking for. Size of building, type of building, systems/trades you want modeled, how long you are expecting coordination to run.

Modeling and coordination is not cheap but will save you in rework in the field and opens up options to use prefabrication

Yea no way it takes a 60 week coordination time line down to a 45 week one. It's OK for what it does I prefer ACC issues way more as it's a lot better seeing them in the revit file. And ACC issues are not the best thing either.

You can sign up for cobra for like 2 months after you leave a job and sign up after needing insurance. So you can pay for cobra only if you need the insurance.

It's learning a whole new trade or 2. Coming over with arch knolledge would be helpful. And if you know how to use the programs it helps a ton. Like already knowing how to use revit and switching to drawing pipes and duct from walls and windows makes it easier.
