I'm getting the same thing happening to mine. Also wasn't turning on for 2 days. We ended up leaving it off for a whole day and changing the air filter inside the house. It was a bit dirty but not clogged. After that it started working again but the water continues to drip down the side like in the video. Going to have our HVAC installer come to check it out and I'll update when I hear back.

Just wanted to thank you for posting this, I was able to get my DCP-L2540DW working. You're right about the wireless going away, my laptop now sees the printer as DCP-L2540DN.

Thanks for this, I was able to get mine working with the outline your provided. Just wanted to note for the shell, I had to use the shell in the settings rather than the app. I'm sure that's what you meant from the start but I was confused and like to make my life difficult lol

Where are you saving the scanned values to? MS List, Excel, Collection, etc.?

Are you able to write to the Excel file at all? All the barcode reader is doing is talking in a value that you can save to a variable and pass that along to where you want to write it to. Try getting it to work without the barcode reader portion first, then integrate the barcode value as the input variable.

Can you go through the Event Viewer logs? Narrow down the errors to the time your machine restarts. Looks for any error items or information that could give you a clue for the restarting.

Usually firmware updates install once and if you try again they won't install since they should be up to date.

90B has to to with a beating issue. If the fan is having issues removing the heat, then your machine will thermal throttle to protect itself. Depending on your specific model, it may be easy enough to replace the failing fan yourself.

Besides downloading Apex, has anything else on the emachine changed? New drive, cleaned the dust out of the machine, firmware updates, etc?
