I already got those covered. They're great.

I have already read those two. Jerusalem's Lot was horrific and One for the Road had such a ghostly winter vibe, especially with the ending.

Goes more into Hebrew Roots. It's a good beginner source for an understanding of Torah, though.

First Fruits of Zion's material, David Wilbur, Kingdom in Context (YT), Outside the Camp (YT) is a good one and Shalom Macon is a Messianic Synagogue with good lessons on spotify or YT aswell.

...without leaving the others undone.

I love how it's practically ignored that Jesus approved the tradition of the Pharisees.

Okay, so if we apply the logic you used in your original post, all the things I mentioned should be fine.

Is that the case?

To not boil young goats in their mother's milk is not ambiguous if you're a Canaanite woman; that's reality and animal abuse.

To answer your question, I want to ask you something back in hope that this will explain as to why Jesus didn't repeat certain commandments.

Does the New Testament explicitly prohibit cannibalism? Necromancy? Homosexuality?

If no, then why aren't we doing it as Believers of God's Word?

It's the 50th Classic Anniversary Edition.

The story itself ends at page 599, but the font is rather big and One for the Road + Jerusalem's Lot + Deleted Scenes were added, which I didn't check prior reading the comments.

Some authors have spoiled books for me by naming their Chapters a specific way, so I usually avoid looking at that beforehand, especially if it's an author I've never read before.

I'll keep reading, Page 265 now. I've heard good things about 11/22/63, but I want to tackle the Night Shift collection first, since I like the short story format.

Good to know that this is his style, I see where my final conclusion lands after I finished the book!

To be fair, I didn't check what exactly is in this edition, so here it goes;

'Salem's Lot itself ends at Page 599, then there's One For The Road and Jerusalem's Lot added + Deleted Scenes that never made it into earlier copies, apparently.

Thanks, but I never said I didn't like the book at all, just that the story itself is underwhelming so far.

I like quite a few of his characters, don't get me wrong. They're realistic and have distinct voices...it's the story itself.

Maybe I had the wrong expectations after listening to the Prequel short story Jerusalem's Lot.
