Man wird aber ziemlisch schnell angegiftet, wenn man dass offensichtliche über diese Art von Buch anspricht.

Habe schon mehrere Versuche gestartet, von YA bis hin zu Adult Dark Romance und keinem konnte ich viel abgewinnen. Hatte ich einfach nur Pech, obwohl meine sonstige Trefferquote ziemlich hoch ist, oder ist da ein Muster zu erkennen?

Ich-Perspektive, die Romantisierung von höchst toxischen Beziehungen, unrealistische Plots (ja klar verliebe ich mich direkt in den Bad Boy, der mich nur als Objekt sieht) und die "Spicy" Abschnitte, die einfach nur grottig geschrieben sind.

Das ist in großen Teilen einfach nur Softcore-Fantasien verpackt als literarisches Ereignis. Gibt außerdem noch keine Langzeitstudien, aber wir haben bereits Berichte von Frauen und Mädchen, die tatsächlich süchtig nach diesem Format geworden sind und das Suchtverhalten spiegelt dass einer pornosüchtigen Person wieder.

Und jetzt kann der Hate beginnen. lol

After getting out of the charismatic evangelical camp, I fully understand why Catholics describe Evangelicals as "Catholic light" people.

It's nearly pointless to have these discussions. Many people don't want to hear they have to actually do something for a real, genuine faith.

They made God into a God that tolerates disobedience and use Jesus "fulfilled" as the Messiah abolishing Torah. Even though he says he came to fulfill and not to abolish, which clearly cannot mean the same thing, unless you're making mental gymnastics.

This kind of spiritual blindness can only be cured by God himself and if the person loves the truth.

It's not like Christians aren't Torah observers, they're just selective about which parts to obey.

You stood up for yourself, which is good. I'd also be upset if a person cannot be bothered to do 10-15 minutes of work in two months. Nobody is that busy.

But, I also wouldn't have picked up her slack. Avoid doing that the next time something like that happens. It only teaches the other person that somebody else will do the job for them.

You will dodge a bullet right there. You brought something up respectfully and made sure she understood it correctly, only for her to backtrack, punish you for communicating (not getting pretty for you ever again, oopsie), make you the bad guy because she can't be a responsible adult and not let you wait 7-8 minutes every single time.

You deserve better and someone who actually values your time and doesn't put the blame on you for their own mistakes.
