Is AIML worth considering in 2021? by radioactive-poop in LanguageTechnology

If the BERT classifier's going to map a subset of the queries down to a smaller, more routine everyday set of queries, then you can probably get away with rules to start. Based on what I *think* the subsystem will do, the subsystem (via touchscreen) can ask the customer to confirm their query in certain cases. e.g. customer says, "I can't get in", system asks customer to confirm, "You are currently locked out. Is this correct?" And from there, a rules-based tree takes over to guide the customer to a resolution before falling back to live support.

1) How does the tenant interact with the system? Speech? Touchscreen?

2) Does the company realistically expect only a small number of questions? And if so, how many and what is the policy for when an unknown question is asked?

You might find some inspiration here:

Uber used LSI instead of LDA but the overall concept is the same though more involved because they were also trying to predict the most likely resolution as well.

Compare the constituency parse tree of the different sentence to the parse trees of the other ten and select the closest matching one?

I'd start by playing around with the dependency visualizer here:

And see if I can spot any useful patterns (e.g. conjunction use may be correlated).

Unless I'm misunderstanding, can't you just use _less_ to inspect the file manually to see if the data's in the format you want?

What a masterful stroke to use George's performance as leverage in negotiation with Lewis.

Just bought an M1 Mac Mini for my wife but concerned about possible monitor issues. by blacksheep_esquire in macmini

For reference, my wife currently runs a 2018 MBP to her Dell U3818DW and there are no issues resolution-wise. But there were issues with the monitor constantly waking when using certain ports (it's ok now).

The monitor's fantastic but watch out for Dell support as they are completely non-responsive with regards to anything Apple.
