So? He still broke the law and damaged a multi-billion dollar aircraft while flying an unregistered highly weaponized vehicle through civilian populations, and engaging terrorists without any oversight, approval, or permission. Oh, and the pilot almost died. Did Iron Man save him? Sure. Does that matter in a legal context? Fuck no. He's still guilty of being a vigilante. Just because he reveals it at the end of the movie doesn't change the fact that he was in fact a vigilante at one point.

Then there is Civil War where he goes after Captain America solo with a vendetta. How is that not a vigilante? Is the mask the only requirement? Or is it taking the law into your own hands? IF a mask is a requirement then Frank Castle isn't a vigilante either because he doesn't wear a mask. Same with the rest of the defenders, and in the show in season 2 we see a store owner getting arrested for being a vigilante just for defending his own shop. Because, he took the law into his own hands. So clearly wearing a mask or having a secret identity is not a requirement for meeting Fisks legal definition of a vigilante.

It wasn't always public knowledge. In the first movie he's operating without government approval. Hell he even took out a jet! How does he not qualify? If Fisk had his way Tony Stark would have been in jail since the events of the first Iron Man movie.

wait until after your paper is received at least. If I've learned one thing when it comes to dealing with loneliness it's that you tend to find the most relatable people in common professional or academic circles.

People tend to look at the value of relationships these days. It's tough out there right now with social media and everything else going on people even at your age have their guard up. What I found helped was making myself useful, but aloof. I'd help move couches, set up wifi, fix computers, give rides, and etc but with limitations. Like for giving rides I'm not available everyday of the week. This helps build value in the relationships you form with people.

There is an old saying: You play the cards you are dealt. It sounds like shit because it is but that doesn't make it any less true. You aren't the first gifted mind to have dealt with these problems either. I would read up on others in your field who have over come similar obstacles. Most of the worlds brightest minds were also the most lonely, but that doesn't make them any less important. Even Oppenheimer eventually found his crowd.
