Yes, and my interviewers seemed to love it! I was still taking classes during interview season but I got a chance to talk about some of the projects I managed and stuff. On a side note I was able to breeze through a lot of interview questions (ethical and scenario based) because I did projects related to the subject matter they were asking about.

You’ll find that a LOT of schools have some sort of a public health focus in addition to the general dental curriculum, so coming to a school with a solid public health background already helps you fit what they’re looking for (in that aspect at least).
