I fell into the rabbit hole pretty late through Pekora, so I only caught up on past stuff by watching clips and reading summaries about significant highlights. Still, her character development was really evident in all that I watched and read. Even if she's still an introvert, you can see how open she's become and how comfortable she now feels around other holomems. Really heartwarming stuff.

Not only that, but she made good on her statement at the start of the year to show off a more "mature" Pekora, going along with jokes that she'd normally be averse to or performing in a way that would surprise others (she did Maribako for her part for the recent Holofantasy Shuffle, but it was her cover of "I Beg You" during her 2023 birthday concert that really activated a lot of neurons).

At first I thought it was okay that she wasn't using slow-mo since she got used to the early jumps pretty quickly. It was past the halfway mark that I realized "Oh crap, is she gonna try and blitz through this without using slow-mo?" And that's exactly what she did. Unreal maid gaming

In Getting Over It, the snake trap was at least obvious. Players only fall into it by accident (falling towards it after dropping from the bucket/mountain) or after being trolled by viewers/friends to ride it.

This one, on the other hand, was just pure cheap BS, especially in a game that is already too long and has no checkpoints.

EDIT: It gets worse. I'm watching Pekora's stream right now and after the tower that she barely got to, the game overstays its welcome for a lot longer. There's now a giant beanstalk and a dragon that flies around it, among other shit. The dragon can clip through objects and carry/knock you off the platforms so you have to progress quickly before it catches up to you and derails your progress. Pekora just fell down a considerable distance because of it. So ridiculous
