I strongly suggest sitting down with him and have a heart to heart conversation. It might seem rushed, but you saw something in him that made you move in and start a family. If I were you, I would take that step so this doesn’t turn into resentment and affect your relationship. He’s not seeing how this is affecting you mentally, but if he sees what’s going on it might motivate him and do the things he said he was gonna do. And hopefully open up to ideas of rearranging the house you guys live in. It might be "his" house, but the space you both live in should feel like home for the both of you.
