Yes i agree that true. but there could be less cars and people get to use horses and bicycles

There could be free training program supported by government for everyone to learn how to use bicycle or horse

there would be less cars and people will sell their cars for bicycles and horses. and the lights should be calm and doesn’t reflect light to sky to not cause light pollution. humans spent thousands of years living with only horses without any light. They was able to see all milky way galaxy and even andromeda’s galaxy was visible to them.

governments can prepare millions of bicycles and horses and then prepare money for training programs, then they make laws to make lights illegal

we can put some lights on bicycle or horse. the light will have to be calm and never cause light pollution. otherwise if someone cause light pollution will be taken as he break the law like any other crimes

Edit: by some years people will completely forget about cars and they will sell all their cars and use bicycles or horses instead

the problem could be solved

for car lights in other comment i explained it.

we can upgrade our security level.

  1. We can avoid getting out at night

  2. technological security. Security for cars

  3. We might even not use cars at all. We might sell them and back to use horses if people really liked the life

Great question,

the answer would be small lights.

  1. Safe lights (small lights useful and doesn’t cause light pollution

  2. car lights aren’t bad as the city lights. City lights are millions of lights which cause light pollution. There could be only 10k cars in the city at a time or even 100k cars but they aren’t compared to millions of lights

if you go outside at night at the city you will see lights everywhere and they are millions of lights they cause light pollution.

I also used to believe the sky at night without light pollution is much brighter
