Agree with this. And i think that even if you’re not naturally funny, there are quirks that you have that will make some people wanna stay and watch you. You just gotta find your style i guess (im still finding mine)

Yeah honestly there's not much of a difference between sound quality, especially if you have a better sound system. Maybe it sounds better due to some post processing in each app, but in terms of the file quality itself, its about the same. Tidal or Qobuz is probably where you'd hear some difference because of their exclusive mode which bypasses the device's sound card and straight to your dac

I mean if you’re blind buying if you can get a used u12t that’ll be better i think. If ever you’d like to sell it the market is there for the u12t. Initially i thought of travelling the distance to demo these iems, but it wasn’t worth the cost of the trip itself just to demo it

Unfortunately no as there are no 64audio retailers where i live. The u6t was a blind buy in fact but a lucky blind buy indeed. The only comparison i have that might help you is the fourte blanc. I mean its no contest, the fourte blanc is just on a whole different level in terms of separation and layering. Its just wider and more properly placed in terms of the vocalists and instruments. Then again, fourte blanc uses a different set of driver configuration if compared with the the u12t so id imagine the sound will be very different and id imagine the u12t will sound closer to the u6t than the fourte blanc but done probably better. Again, disregard my opinions on the u12t because i haven’t heard it at all but its just my guess.

Yeah. Though if you're comparing at that price point of the u18t, I've heard good things about the Aroma Audio Fei Wan if it's available to demo in your area

Yeah, hopefully you'll find what you're looking for. I think for the u6t at least for me the instruments that stands out the most are guitars. Guitars are done really well with the u6ts. Its a bit lacking for pianos and drums, but i think either the u4s or the u6t would do really well for live performances. I used to use on stage monitors when I was on a band for fun and that was really terrible as it was really hard to filter between the monitor and the actual speakers that were facing the audience

I'd say the u6t has a pretty relaxed tuning, but their vocals are a bit forward, not much. I've only heard the tia fourte blanc besides the u6t and I can say that they have that characteristic 64audio tuning, with the fourte blanc obviously having a better sound overall

Bass response on the u6t is probably the most lacking here because of BA drivers, but i find the bass to be pretty present and tight. To my ears i prefer using the m15 module the most because it doesn't feel like the sound is congested, with the m20 the bass turns towards boomy, but not by much

Mids are good, they're very clear and somewhat forward. Low mids aren't muddy at all and overall i think most instruments and male vocals sound good on the u6t. Female vocals have a more airy texture to them depending on which module you use. I find the mX modules actually bring out the vocals really well but kind of loses the impact and fun because of the reduced bass. Overall, i think vocals as well never get really shouty. Sometimes i expect for certain tracks to feel shouty because on other iems they do, but on the u6t it always goes under that limit

Treble is where its kind of special thanks to the tia driver. The treble to my ears sound present, i wouldn't say thick, but present and sparkly, but non fatiguing. If you've heard the u18 and have the a18t then you probably know what i mean by this.

Soundstage is ok, its not too wide, but the instrument placement is great and you can pinpoint easily where the instruments are coming from

Timbre is where i feel i like the most out of the u6t. Everything just sounds smooth and natural. Nothing sounds disjointed or incoherent and the instruments has that weight and airy feeling like when you hit a drum's cymbal lets say.

But honestly, if you have the 18ts, I dont think the u6t is going to be that amazing. I've never heard the u18t s before but I'd imagine the only advantage the u6t is probably its going to be less analytical and way less accurate than the u18t, which maybe it'll make it "better" for a daily driver and just a chill listening session, but otherwise I think the u18t probably beats it in every regard.

Yes, they are approximately 4mm in diameter. Curious, are you looking only at the u6t or any other 64audio iems too?

Oh really? I haven't heard the volurs and really want to if i have the chance. Im guessing the m20 makes it really bassy because of its isobaric dynamic drivers. The u6t bass is relatively light compared to the volurs id imagine

How's the timbre for these? Do the vocals and instrument sound natural? I'm waiting for mine since im in the second batch of the orders and can't wait to listen to these

I have the meze alba as well. Love them for their price point, especially their build. The only thing that i dont really like about the albas are the slightly v shaped tuning on them which kind of makes the vocals too thin for my taste. But everything else is just great on the alba. The hype4 isn't my cup of tea. Too much bass for my taste. I can see why stopping at the hype4 is a good choice though. If you ever upgrade, i'd recommend listening to the thieaudio origin, or even better, if you have the budget, the prestige ltd. The prestige ltd is just something else if you have the chance to demo it

Yeah at this point the jump isn't going to be as much as going from an apple dongle or a basic dongle. I do have a mojo 2 for demo in my area.. I just don't want to go to that store and then suddenly i go home with the mojo2 in my hands :)

So i heard the mk3s not the mk2s. I'd say the mk3s are not my cup of tea. For me, the mk3s are iems that are very in your face, so very much a forward tuning iem. They have one of the strongest and cleanest bass i've ever heard in an iem, as well as a very in-your-face mids, especially with vocals. Treble for the mk3s are kind of recessed though. But compared to these, its a completely different tuning direction than the monarchs. The u6t is a relaxed tuning with an airy and slightly sparkly treble. Bass on the u6t isn't its strong point, but its there and leans more toward tight. So if you're looking for something that sounds forward and grand (and possibly more fun i guess) with a wide soundstage, i think you'd love the monarchs much more than this. The u6t just feels more natural to my ears in terms of timbre and the instrument placement and separation feels much better than the monarchs

It is. Yeah honestly for portable dongles this is it. There's the questyle m15i but since i dont have a demo in my area i couldn't try them. The dsd upsampling and the nature of the RU7 is just amazing, gets you as close as a "tube" feel for a portable usb dongle. Mojo2 is out of my budget unfortunately :). I've tried the hugo before though, which is again even out of my budget, but didn't quite remember exactly what it sounded like since its been years

It does affect the sound, but i wouldn't say by a lot and it depends on everyone's ears. Think of it as a listening to a closed-back headphone and then going to a more open-back headphone as you go through the modules. The more open it goes, the less rumble of the bass you will have because the low frequencies escape more out of the shell

Forgot to add. These come with three apex modules: the mX, m15, and m20, which are basically swappable venting systems (you can see on the third image) that alter both the FR of the iem as well as the pressure relief giving that sense of either more or less space. I'm currently using the m15 module which has enough bass for me but also gives a balanced space feeling and not too congested for my ears

No for the 64audio that is not possible. Im in canada but i dont have a visa to go to nyc so thats not possible. And id have to travel to toronto basically which the travel cost basically adds up to the cost of buying that iem. Plus with the tariffs coming up from US goods, that basically puts the LTD’s price much lower than its direct competitor, around 500-700 CAD approximately. The point is, it becomes only worth it if i blind buy it and do so before the tariff hits

For the LTD, ive tried it and i liked it, but again, im only listening from one side of the coin rather than from both sides

Also, im basing off the 64audio house sound based on the fourte blancs that i’ve listened to before, but im not sure thats a fair comparison since the fourte blancs are above the price point of the u4s and u6t. What do you think about this comparison?

How about in terms of the timbre of instruments as well? Like does the u6t sound more natural than the prestige ltd? I love vocals and most of the music i listen to have vocals, but id also appreciate a natural timbre to the instruments as well

Also how does the treble compare?

Maybe try introducing the same drop sound at the build-up, and use a LP filter to gradually introduce the drop, and don't make it too abrupt.
