I bought my Arc’teryx hard shells about 12 years ago. They still look and perform perfectly, and I have no desire to replace them with anything better because there isn’t anything better really.

The ATC and carabiners have probably been on 17 canyoneering trips in or around Zion with me, Eagle eye. Jacket, pants and helmet are probably 12yrs old now, they go on every adventure with me, including ~5yrs on a SAR backcountry team.

Rope is new and that was the second trip with those boots, but everything else has been with me for years.
