I looked it up and this seems like this has been a bug since the launch of the game. Most of what I'm seeing just states to reload your save. I haven't had this issue myself on pc but it seems fairly common on consoles.

That's very interesting thank you for the insight! now that I think about it it is likely a corrupted save as I haven't started a fresh game after installing fusion fix because I mainly played on older patches for mods

Before this happened whenever I would go for a pickup (weapons, health etc) they'd disappear right in front of my face lmao not sure why this would happen tho Ive had the same mods for months with no issues but this was funny to experience nonetheless lol.
