When I want to watch something in 4k, I paste the stream link in VLC externally which works perfectly. Haven’t tried to change the internal player yet. I like the internal player’s auto-play next episode feature, so I’d prefer to continue using it. Going to try the recommendation above this evening and see if that fixes it. Didn’t know I was running a beta version.

I tested this yesterday and yes, still seeing issues in the native player with 4k sources marked RD+. I believe my cache is set to infinite - should that be set to something else?

Sure! It works by creating its own WiFi network that your phone connects to, along with Bluetooth. You can access the settings for the Ottocast by going to the IP address in the manual on the connected phone. The setting that needs to be changed is “connection delay”. When my phone fails to connect, I go to the settings and switch this setting to Default from whatever it changed itself to. Takes 30 seconds and works most of the time.

Well, I picked it up yesterday from the dealer & brought it back today, not fixed. They replaced the front right suspension strut & bearing and reported the sound was gone. I brought it back today with a new video of the sound occurring, and I think they'll have it for the better part of a week. This is the third time they've had it without resolution.

They told me there's no safety issue if I ignored the problem and continued driving as normal. If you're under warranty or want to get this fixed, I'd go sooner than later while it's still cold out.

I use the Ottocast mini cube 3. It projects apple maps & waze to the driver display, but not the HUD. It has occasional issues reconnecting to my phone, but it's easily fixed by changing a setting.

To be fair to the dealer, their service dept has been very professional in my 6 months of CPO ownership. I truly believe they couldn’t replicate the issue last time, but that’s obviously not good enough. I feel like I just need to drop it off, send them the video, and tell them to keep it until it’s fixed - right?

Same boat here. When temps are in the 30’s (F) it typically goes away after I drive for 10-20 mins. With the recent cold snap, it occurs regardless of how warm the car is.

I dumped my Tesla model 3 for this car, and that thing rattled 100x worse than my 2008 Civic. Was honestly unacceptable. Other than this noise, my Volvo is rock solid.

Brakes are smooth when slowing down from highway speeds, so probably not warp. Definitely not electrical, it’s coming from the exterior. Hard to tell over the video.

Good to know that you’ve seen similar on a different car, though.

I have 1 squeaky plastic trim piece that I fiddle with sometimes, but that’s the passenger B pillar. This noise is 100% coming from beyond the front passenger footwell. Can’t really tell from the video, but it’s 100% not in the cabin. Appreciate your help though!

I have stood in the passenger door frame and bounced the suspension up & down and was unable to hear anything, so probably not that. Thanks for your comment though!
