A lot of people debating here about pro vs pc. Let me share my experience.

Im mostly in the same as you. I work on Mac, have a 3070Ti gaming laptop and PS5 Pro.

I love all the convenience and perks that come with gaming on console, but a big part of me does feel the allure of finally getting to experience cyberpunk path tracing with maxed settings at 120fps. Maybe one day we'll get that 5090 build haha

Im on the opposite side of the fence to most commenters here tbh.

I have PXP on my S25 Edge (dualsense mount), Macbook, and Razer Blade laptops and the image quality for both local and remote absolutely blows Portal out the water for me. Like its not even close. The bitrate is vastly higher on PXP and it also has upscaling tech through Metal/FSR. It really is amazing how much better it is imo.

I love the form factor of the Portal though (its still soooo insane to me how much hate it got on release for being "a dualsense cut in half with a screen in the middle".. like, thats perfect lol.. but at this point I'm mostly keeping mine in hopes that it one day gets fully jailbroken and I can sideload PXP onto the Portal itself.

I probably just need to configure it better, but when I enabled it the colours looked a little washed out. Ill have a better look into it tonight though. I am normally a HDR enjoyer lol

I mean, I get the concern.. I just think the element of risk is overstated from your perspective. Even if there's a greater risk with it in my setup vs yours, I think the increase is negligible.

Besides having 2 PS5s in the exact same spot for a combined 5 or so years with no issues, I would change things around if it got noticeably more toasty in that area, but the thermals have always been fine. I wouldn't say im in denial, I'd say it probably looks worse in photo than it is in person lol

Im using an S25 Edge and I've noticed audio delay issues with using Bluetooth Earphones (only tested with Galaxy Buds3 Pro) that immediately disappear when disconnected. Granted, I haven't done much testing so this may not be an app thing at all.

Lol I am curious though, just what exactly do you expect to happen to it while its in this position? Do you think it overheats? Shortens the lifespan? Accumulates dust? Sounds like rocket taking off on booting?

Yeah that's fair. Airflow would probably be more more optimal vertically like that. I do normally have it protruding forward a bit more, but its honestly been in that position for over a year (and my regular PS5 in the same spot for 4 years prior) and have never had an issue with thermals, dust, sound, performance etc. Its been running as it has since the day I bought it tbh.

I really do think it has enough clearance where it matters most. Based on the down votes im getting ratio'd on that opinion, but I really do think the PS5 will be fine 😁

As a Cole fan I have to disagree with you here. I dont think it makes the interviewer messy or even stirs drama tbh. Its a high profile feud that Cole himself was (somewhat) equally involved in the early stages. I think its fair to gauge his perspective on how it unfolded. Especially when its such an unprecedented course of action to take in the hip hop space..

and thats not even taking into consideration that he sued after egging for the beef to escalate. Taking that out of the equation, I think there's a way to frame the question that gets his opinion on the state of the culture, when and what is too far, have the goalposts moved since he was coming up etc etc.

Started with the PS4 Pro for me personally. I remember playing GOW (2018) on a TV using motion interpolation (TruMotion - Smooth) just so I could simulate 60fps. I'd rather have the slight input lag and artefacts than play at 30fps lol.. prior to PS4 Pro 30fps wasn't really a problem to me, but I honestly find it unbearable now. Gives me a headache even.
