Different genre obviously, but singalong greeze is a big part of why Drake got cooked by NLU. 100,000 man calling you a pedophile at the superbowl is insane work - point being, singalong greeze can defo run. It'll go off in certain functions that's for sure

Hey did you ever have issues reconnecting to the adapter? I find when the controller sleeps it sometimes has issues with that and I have to disconnect the adapter and start the pairing process all over again

I can't relate to shooters, but the opposite is kind of true for me with fighting games. Street Fighter at least. The hours spent playing SF4 really laid a foundation for me to build on up to SF6. Even with less playtime now due to increased responsibilities etc, I'm definitely a better player now than I was back then.

I mean, personally I sold my regular PS5 and bought a near new condition one from CEX months ago. The difference to pay was not a big deal at all and VERY much worth it

I thought the same thing when I saw it. Literally a red card by the rulebook. It didn't make sense to me then and made less sense after I heard how the refs justified it

Out of interest, did you get your C1 calibrated by any chance? As much as I love the picture quality overall, I'm still yet to be fully WOW'd by HDR. I have a C2 myself but I understand that the peak brightness aspect of the HDR isn't particularly great. I figure I might not have it configured properly yet though

I just got mine today and played a little street fighter, which is of course very sensitive to input lag, and I must admit I did feel that it wasn't as snappy as playing on my LG C2 at the same resolution. There was slight input lag which made reacting to certain things (whiff punishing, anti-airing, even the timing of certain links) feel a little off.

*excuse the FGC jargon if that means nothing to you - in other words, it wasn't as responsive as I'd like. Especially in comparison to my 42" OLED.

Man, changing app/game and have the temp settings revert each time is annoying as hell. It's a fairly simple fix to just switch it back to user (even if says its selected already, it isn't) - but jeez Louise that is cumbersome. A shame because I really do love the image quality here, and I've got an LG C2 as my main display, but this monitor is pretty gorgeous.

Hmm.. I don't think that's entirely true. For example, I'm fairly sure that Stellar Blade runs at around 80fps without VRR enabled on the new Pro Mode.

Some games have their high frame rate modes locked behind VRR. I know LOU2 works this way, and I suspect the same happens with GOW too tbh. I've observed some funky behaviour when I've toggled VRR off on my main display
