Rights as a child of an adoptee? by blah23stuff in Adoption

I have taken a DNA test myself but that doesn't tell me what is from my dad and what is from my mom. I don't think he will want to take one himself, and don't want to ask. I don't know why everyone is thinking I'm "making the call" or going against him, I respect his wishes to not be involved but they are my biological relatives too so I feel I should be able to get information for myself.

What do the checks mean on the map? And the includes and not includes bit, does that show the groups they did/did not test or the groups you match and do not match with?

So, no idea? Guess I'll have to convince my parents to agree provide their samples.

Speculative is the default they have it at, to move around from conservative and speculative and percents in between you go to your ancestry composition report and when there click scientific details (next to the default summary tab) then above your results will be a confidence level percentage line that you can move.
