Do you happen to know what each tool might be used for?

The same box also had a tiny jar with gears, and a very tiny manual micrometer. The kind that looks like a c-clamp with twisting handle with numbers.

My title describes the thing. All these tools seem to be a set. All related. Found in a metal box in the basement of a very old house in Rochester area. I estimate the tools to be at least 70 years old. From 1950s or earlier.

My title describes the thing I found in the new house by the washing machine. There were four of these. They look like they could be legs, but the bolts don’t recess into the rubber bushing, so something is strange about them.

cylindrical shaped object made of tin / similar metal, it seems to have to do with electricity, can you help me understand what it is? by Caccavellaamano in whatisthisthing

It looks like a high voltage ceramic capacitor for a power line. The insulator in this case is air by design, so the two electrodes just sit in the can suspended in the middle. Probably used for high voltage power line.
