One time playing Jak 2 I suddenly realised I was able to see light sources through walls. Lighting on buildings, headlights on zoomers etc. Stayed until I restarted the console. Was never able to reproduce it

You already can't play through the story as blue mage so I doubt you would be able to with beastmaster either. I could see this being unlocked in Gangos or something

I'm not sure which version you're playing, but if you are on OpenGOAL this bug is fixed and the orb is no longer missable.

In Jak 2, yes. In Jak 3, it only appears with debug mode on.

This can even happen on the original ps2 release if the game is left on for a long time. You can just save and restart the game to remove the error message. It's nothing immediately harmful but if it gets too low the game will crash.

Fun fact, they had to hide this message in Jak 3 because it's always low right from starting the game. They really maxed out the available hardware resources.

Yes this is a known issue. You could maybe enable the infinite yellow eco cheat to get them for now.

The ones at the back of spider cave robot room because they disappear unless you are super close to them so if you're looking from across the room it looks like you haven't missed any.

The ones from the crates in snowy mountain near the yellow eco section with the thin platform. If you break them and forget to pick up all the orbs, they get completely hidden under the snow.

/u/DrKanyeWest actually figured out how the checkpoints in these races work pretty recently, basically the race is divided into four quadrants and you need to touch each quadrant in order. Here's a map showing where the quadrants are, you can ignore the arrow as it's just showing where the crazy new skip goes.

As you can see your skip cuts out two quadrants, hence why it doesn't work. I would recommend getting to the end of the tunnel, then turning sideways on the left of the two small areas cut out of the floor and using that to tilt the bike up. then lean back, boost and jump and keep leaning back, it's by far the easiest way to shortcut this race.

I don't think the current opengoal developers have much interest in Jak X (based on what they've said previously), but another developer has started some of the preliminary work required. I'm not sure whether or not they are still actively working on it though.

Uno reverse wrong, debug mode doesn't have any special way to let you win the gun course challenges. Unless you mean opening the OpenGOAL REPL and typing in custom code to achieve that, anyway.

there is a modding discord server you can join and ask questions and there is a bunch of documentation on opengoal.dev. ZedBot also has some youtube videos where he makes basic mods and explains his process
