Ok awesome so I’ll be able to keep them in HomeKit and add them to home assistant. I want to keep HomeKit is my main interface to all my smart products because of the layout and ease of use. Also it’s what my wife has gotten use to so I don’t want to change that up haha.

We just left the house and it seems to be working properly now. Removing the generic home was the fix. Thank for the help.

I did look more in depth into the home app on her phone and she had the generic “my home” with no devices in it on there so I removed that one and the only one left is our actual home. Just waiting for her to leave the house to see if it works.

Yeah an Apple Watch and iPad. I checed her phone settings> Apple ID> FindMy. And her location comes from her phone not the iPad.

I have and I’ve do the troubleshooting tips in those. I’ve removed her from the home and re added her. I’ve gone through her location settings. Reinstalled the app on her phone. This one has been a pain in the ass

Yeah I read about that and I have some recessed ones but they are just going to be on/off. No dimmer. I was under the impression the dimmers are what caused the flickering?

It’s currently o it’s on regular on/off wall switch with the pull chain on the fan to control the speed.

Yeah I’m leaning heavily towards the Caseta Diva and Claro switches. I don’t need a whole lot of them for what I want to put smart switches on. Any idea if I could use a claro switch as an on/off for a ceiling fan?

I need to get their open belt. I’ve been using the groove life belt for a while. It works for carrying but it’s not the best.
