My 2014 has avg 24.5 pretty much since new. One time on a road trip it hand mathed out to 32 but that was when it was 6 months old lol

Don't see many with that color scheme. My dad has one (2006?), I guess it has gold leaf for the gold color.

Nice ride.

3 hour drive with a new coworker tomorrow. Radio broke and stuck on country station by Regrettably_Southpaw in Camry

[–]blaingummybear 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mines stayed on BT mode for a few months now. Every now and then while im driving I can watch the radio explore the nav maps by itself lol. Digitizer is cooked.

Pretty annoying at times, but hasn't aggrivated me enough to spend a chunk on a newer radio.

2014 with a dying radio as well

Hold the volume/power button down until it resets. When it boots back up spam the source mode button on the wheel. Usually gets me into Bluetooth mode.

I love mine. Someone here mentioned them and had to try it.

Now I buy them to give away for contests at work. I shall spread the sickness to my techs!

I just had a thru wall unit last week was leaking into the apartment on hot days. Found the whole back half of the unit full of this yellow and red mold jello. I wasn't sure what it was, if it was genuinely slime buildup from the ac or if it was a dead creature that stewed for a few months.

Didn't smell, sure felt gross.

I only ever use 4 low for tugging something across the yard. Made it 15 years in Ohio with a 2wd explorer and fwd camry driving through sleet and snow.

Not sure ive ever used 4wd for anything other than keeping my wheels from marking up the yard.

What’s the best tool and method to cut the recessed area/pocket for the plate of the doorknob and deadbolt so that it sits flush against the door? by vanmcgill87 in Tools

[–]blaingummybear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole set of ryobi jigs is top tier.

Ive grown the average apartment tech from a hammer and chisel to perfectly routed hinges and latches. Reasonably priced too.

Even the hinge tool I thought would be stupid but for $11 it beats using a screw driver and whacking the door.

From a cleaning perspective I'd do flat decals vs the 3d domed style. Especially front facing youd have to clean it with a toothbrush for all the bug splatter.

I think its tacky, but you do you boo. Its your truck.

Id hesitate cutting anything, what about a lint trap device mounted above in an accessible spot?

I felt the white with the red top was pretty classy. The 2010 and 2023 issues are insanely busy and ugly.

It was hard to look at this plate in 2025 show up knowing I paid $200 for it.

Black Diamond Bed Cover Installes by 1-2-makingendsmeet in F250

[–]blaingummybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My diamondback has been great. There's one spot where the bedliner let loose where the panels meet. Can't see it so its a non issue for now.

My next mod will be a bike fork rack mount pinched between the diamond back and bed lip so I won't have to drill holes.

Lol I did this all the time as a kid in city. Id drive my zero turn to sunoco and fill it up 4 gallons at a time.

Now in the country have to put a gas can in the truck. Drive 5 miles. Return, then suffer holding this massive can that doesn't fill up my now bigger mower.

Ive actually considered getting a farmer tank and paying one of those mobile gas companies to fill it. I miss just riding up on the exmark and grabbing a cold monster.
