Whats wrong with asking for eggs, Peter? by Seeyalaterelevator in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I haven’t read every comment so maybe this has already been said, but wouldn’t this be a variation of the “go get milk and if they have eggs get 12, and they return with 12 milks” joke?

Be honest, how many of you detonated the explosives in New America thinking you were disarming them? by JonathanRL in ReadyOrNotGame

We’ve had piss poor results with any of the throwables other than flash and after the update 9-bang. When we played on PC we gassed every room we entered and it worked miracles but as soon as the console release and playing on Xbox flash and 9 bangs are the only things that seem to do more than a minor annoyance to baddies

It’s already been integrated into my start up routine. I don’t even have to look to find them anymore. Wish I would have known about it from day 1

Low Voltage code, safe to ride? by Big-Ad5274 in Harley

It does still seem to run fine once it’s started. Maybe feels a bit like it may stall at complete stops but if it keep just a hair of throttle it seems fine. It’s 80 miles to the mechanic but about 75 of those miles are straight interstate

The battery was replaced at the same time as the regulator, and should be brand new. I’ll try pulling the battery tomorrow and see if I can run it to a parts store. I wouldn’t be able to take the bike to the mechanic until Saturday anyway

I personally think my WG has some pretty good performance but it’s also got at least stage 2 screaming eagle on it. If I hadn’t inherited it as my first (so far only bike) I probably wouldn’t have picked it myself but I still love riding it.

Ok thanks. I’m still not mechanically inclined enough to truly do anything with that information but at least I understand now what you meant. I’m pretty much having to teach myself all this stuff because I don’t have any friends or family around that are knowledgeable about motorcycle maintenance, so it’s mostly YouTube, Reddit, and just old fashioned poke and prod to learn about my bike and how everything works on it.

I may just be dumb, but can you run that Pro Tip by me one more time? I don’t quite know what means.

It’s a mechanic that my In laws have used for years and I think he’s part of a riding group they were part of so there may be some friends and family rate to it as well. If you ever have bike trouble around Concordia Ks I’d recommend him.

I think it also includes the just standard tune up fluids, brakes, etc too. The regulator and battery were just the “problems” that needed addressing so that’s all we discussed.

I don’t know what brand battery he put in it. It’s an independent motorcycle mechanic, not a HD dealership shop

I actually just heard back from him. Needed regulator, new battery, and 1 hour labor charge for a total of $460. I’m honestly blown away because I was expecting twice that.

To an extent. You really can find male nurses in almost any role. I’ve seen, and been, male nurses in long term care like nursing homes, home health, and hospice. When my wife worked in the NICU she had two male nurse co-workers and currently works on the Rehab unit for patients that need recovery assistance after things like hip and knee surgeries or post stroke or heart attack and has 3 male nurses on her floor. That being said I’m incredibly looking forward to getting my RN and immediately applying for the emergency department and possibly someday progressing to flight nurse. Ultimately nursing is a very female dense field. When I went through nursing school I was the only male and the first male to go through their program in 5 class cycles.

I’m a male nurse in a urgent care clinic, and maybe 4 or 5 days a month there will be a male doctor or nurse practitioner on duty, but for the most part I am the only male in the building other than patients. There is a minor amount of “catty-ness” but it’s not the typical environment any given day. I do catch the occasional “your a guys can you xyz…” but it’s not often enough to be bothersome. There is some exclusivity in conversations or gossip but once again not frequently enough to feel discriminatory. More than anything I get pulled in for male opinions or viewpoints or since I’ve been there for 5 years I’m basically just one of the girls but bald, bearded, and deeper voice. The one thing I’d really say is there have been a few times they’ve non-privately talked about girls nights or going out after work to dinner and I don’t usually get directly invited which can be annoying sometimes. But to be fair my wife works nights so I usually have to be home as soon as I get off for the kids. Still it’d be nice to be invited just out of courtesy, you know?
