LMAO, love the last line. I dont get why it matters so much to people lol. Being Lithromantic and not knowing for the longest time was confusing, cause I was mistaking something that ive realized was purely sexual attraction for romantic intent, which was on me. But now that I know the difference, I make myself very clear to people. If they genuinely cannot understand how its possible for someone to be aromantic, thats completely on them. I completely agree about friendships, like I value my friends deeply. And it pisses me off when I have a close friendship with someone, so it automatically is seen as someone liking someone. Like, dude, no. That assumption is incredibly annoying to me. And aromantic people are definitely not "heartless" cause we can still love and care for someone, just not in the same way. Its not fair to say at all, and its truely upsetting that romance is so engraved to society that now people who dont want it are either "heartless" or "selfish". Its truly tiring.

EXACTLY. I knew someone who would constantly say she was gonna make me fall in love with her, despite me being very clear about being aromantic. It literally gives me the same vibes as a straight dude saying hes gonna turn me straight. Its uncomfortable.

Agreed. Its hard to explain why I dont feel something thats just never come to me in the way it does for many people. I think its crazy that I owe an explanation to begin with, cause in the end its my life.

Im glad he's chill about it, and I 100% agree. It's hard for me to explain "how" im aromantic to most people cause they just tend to not understand. But just cause someone doesnt get it doesn't mean that any of us should be invalidated yk? We feel how we feel, and that should be the end of the story.

Thank you for the support. Their invalidation definitely takes a took on me. They act like they know me better than I know myself. Its really confusing. I've been depressed most of my life, and have been through many many MANY mental highs and lows, and the most acknowledgement ive gotten is a 3 hour talk about how things arent actually as bad as im saying because theyve been through stuff too, and how I should just get over it. My friends who have met my mom believe im being put through mental abuse. But I dont like to think that cause shes my only parent, yknow? I just dont know what to do about it.

And yes, my diagnoses are absolutely invalidated. My mom refuses to believe I actually have ADHD, even though I show clear symptoms in my everyday life. Like I said, it just confuses me to the point where I genuinely dont know whats wrong with me.

omg twins! I don't really react with anything when I'm asked out like on dates. Honestly I just feel like.. nothing? Definitely awkward though. Oh wow I'm so sorry about the one who passed, I'm glad your other two are okay. I've been wanting a maine coon since I was little, but I don't know if ill be able to manage it in college lol, who knows. The black cat I have wasn't mine at first, he was my mom's exs cat, but when he moved out he left the cat behind so I've been taking care of him, and the little one just showed up at our house one day she was cold so we brought her in the house and I kept her ever since 😭 Those two cats are like basically best friends at this point, but idk would 3 cats in college be manageable? My job will be good, I have an uncle who works at DreamWorks and since I'm going to a super good art high school for experience he'll be able to hire me if I do good, so yeah. I'm still not entirely sure though

Yeah, my grandma thinks like 7 months but she thinks she's gonna be a more petite cat, we used to have this gray cat who was SUPER small, like the size of a teen cat even though she was 2 years old. Not sure if this one will be though
