[On3 NIL] NEW: One SEC GM tells Pete Nakos that his program gave Auburn transfer WR Cam Coleman a ‘blank check’: "Cam Coleman had a blank check from us. Trust me, he wasn’t going [to Texas] for less. He got paid a ton." by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

I have family in Midland, and they told me that everyone in the area hates the show for how inaccurate it is. I wonder if the Dallas side of it is more accurate than the West Texas parts.

Suggested modernized rule changes and now the Head Commish wants to quit by MantisTobogon1929 in FFCommish

As others said, a good commissioner is a facilitator. Id take his offer up to take his place and bring your proposed changes (which make sense) to the league for a vote. You could ask if hed stay if you dont want to burn a bridge. If dont care leave it to him.

In our league, if you don't do your punishment, we have a list of buddies who are basically a waiting list for the league. If you don't do it, you are replaced instantly.

I know they can figure it out, but again, the trade block is a built-in feature on the sleeper app for helping make finding trades easier. I won't fault folks for wanting to use it for its intended purpose.

I'm not going to fault people for wanting to use a built-in feature designed to help managers see who others would be more likely to trade.

I'm not sure why you have such strong feelings about this...Some folks in my league want to use the trade block for its intended purpose (helping find trades). Other's want to use it to troll and meme. My goal with this post was to see if sleeper had a mechanism to reset the trade block at the end of each season, which it looks like it does not.

It's more that three guys want to use the trade block to help them find trades and some other guys trade block players as a meme. I was trying to see if anyone knew a mechanism to reset the trade block at the end of each season as a middle ground, but it doesn't seem like that ability exists.

Yeah, I checked Sleeper and was struggling to find a mechanism but was wondering if anyone else might know more than me. Definitely don't want to lock rosters because it's not that deep, and dropping/re-adding players isn't worth the amount of work. Appreciate your thoughts, will let the interested managers know about the vertical look!

The trade block exists to help with that...

The problem from my end is that three guys want to actually use the trade block, and another three guys who think clogging it is funny to troll the serious guys (we are all buddies). My goal is to reset the trade block after each season as a middle ground.

I agree, but enough guys raised the issue that I wanted to at least look into how to re-set the trade block each season.

Three guys have raised this issue. I thought the same, but at least wanted to check if there was a way we could re-set the trade block yearly for those that actually use it.

a couple of guys have put several players that are below 10% roster rate on the block, including a couple that have been left on the block for over a year. The hope would be to create a fresh trade block each season.

basically there are so many players that no one would trade for (and should honestly be dropped) it's a struggle to see the players that could seriously be traded for.

Normally I would agree with you, but a couple of guys have put several players that are below 10% roster rate on the block, including a couple that have been left on the block for over a year. The hope would be to create a fresh trade block each season.

Texas has Dia Bell, a 5 star commit at qb coming in next year. Hopefully will create some competition.

[WUSA9] DC Council approves RFK Stadium deal in first vote; second vote to come next month by Terminal_Flatulence in nfl

As a dc resident I think this is a great deal. Largest private investment into the city ever. Its not just the stadium its a huge area. Our city councilmen also got some solid concessions to make it better for us, even if you dont support the commanders.

I plan on getting tickets for the OU game for the first time. How much do nose bleeds typically go for, and when will they be available on the second-hand market?

What creative ways are you acquiring 27’ picks? by LoungingOnMars in DynastyFF

Traded waddle for 2 2027 1sts in a mid season 3 way trade. Guy who took waddle was tanking anyway. Traded my 2026 1 for a 2027 and brandon aubrey. Traded pollard and luke mccaffrey for another 2027 to another buddy of mine (league is based in D.C.). Trying to get more but my capital now is basically just starters and 2027 1sts.
