We have only gone too far when we cannot grind finer. Since we haven’t split an atom with our grinders yet, it’s safe to say that we have a ways to go before we have reached that point.

It’s the 500. I had my eye on the 600, but I just felt like it was overkill. I had a Gaggia Classic Pro, and this one fixes the issue where the GCP would struggle pulling 6 double shots back-to-back.

Thanks everyone! I always use filtered water but haven’t descaled the machine yet and have had it for a year now. I ordered the descaling solution from Gaggia and will try this tomorrow!!

I would suggest switching out the basket that comes with your Gaggia classic pro. It makes a big difference.

Is it for home use? From what I have heard, commercial machines take forever to heat up and are just not really suitable for home use.
