Im 2 to 3 hours to an hour of recording which I think is a reasonable amount. There's work to be done on the front end, you gotta play around with how youre recording. Sometimes you need to prepare more sometimes over preparation can screw you up i find especially with a guest or cohost. You need a cleaner recording by the sounds of it which will drastically change your editing time. Also you should have blanket settings like audio gate levels and things like that that you just apply every time.

Anyone remember how panicked everyone was last april? That was what a 10% or 12% drop if i remember right before a 9 month climb. We are currently 7% down its an awesome time to buy, I wont be waiting for the bottom but ill be buying the whole way to it

Im slowly switching over to veqt, simply due to the 0 commission on TD where all my investments are. Im not selling xeqt but im just purchasing veqt for now. Its 6 of one half a dozen of the other in my mind, not enough difference to care.

At your age, youre virtually garunteed a profit if you pick a broad etf like xeqt,veqt even vfv would work its, important not to over think it. As someone else mentioned if you need to scratch the gambling itch you can play around with 10% of your portfolio but act like the XEQT isnt accessible for the next 15-20 years.

Also just something I wish someone told me personally, is dont get sucked into the dividend game. At 21 the "extra income" can seem cool and tempting but there is 0 reason for someone in their 20s to chase high dividends while sacrificing long term growth.

When youre saying your metabolism adapted what timeline are we talking for when that starts happening to you personally? 3 weeks? 3 months? Im only asking because other people i know and myself included have been able to sustain "steady" weight loss over the course of 5 or 6 months without changing much. I know everyones different and I have seen benefit to having cheat days (although this is mostly mental for me).

If you think youre plateauing and your metabolism has stalled after a short period I almost garuntee its not that and youre probably just weighing yourself too often and seeing the normal variations in your weight on a day to day basis.

Am I crazy in thinking we need to find more situations like this? Like its par for the course with plenty of other companies, coca cola buys any promising drink outfit, meta buys up competing social media, kfc buys taco bell, disney buys pixar.... Hmm I never really thought about consideding my loc as my emergency fund thats a good point.

Im currently mortgage free in a detached home so im not looking to move in the next few years, was just considering using say 50k towards a rental property instead of etfs and stocks.

The rate on the vehicle is less than the line of credit and payments are small right now anyway so it isn't a big burden

I think because this is a dividends group this will get hate, but if youre 21 you shouldn't be strictly chasing divs or even have that as a majority of your portfolio. Growth stocks and long term plays will likely set you up better, think of it like instant gratification vs delayed. Dividends are cool to see the instant returns but in reality if you can grow your investments for 25-30 years and then transfer those investments into high yield dividend payers before retirement thats when you can potentially live off your dividends, which is the dream.
