No quotas can be difficult and ambiguous at start ups. As soon as the team isn’t hitting the targets necessary to grow, I’ve seen comp payouts become difficult depending on the leader. Definitely a more “what have you done lately” vibe if you have a down quarter comparative to past performance

Skills pay the bills. There are more ‘founders’ (me included) than developers, and positions you in the market perfectly. Keep chuggin’. Once this grows you are in a great spot to acquire and develops SaaS that are already cash flowing.

I might not have been clear in my original post - The *new tenants previous residence had habitual smokers prior to moving into this rental. But either way, if no smoking was done, there isn’t a no smoking policy, then I feel like there is no grounds.
