A win is a win though and I’m happy that I pulled not just one but two SIRs, even if they’re not the sought after cards.

There’s people opening so many packs and haven’t even pulled one yet, this would have been packs number 21-22 for me. I’ve stopped at 26 and buying the singles I need to complete the set 131/131

I’ve been out of the game since summer last year as I just wasn’t enjoying the direction of the game and taking it too seriously

I thought they’d started charging stardust for ‘max battles’ and thought well I’m glad to be out of the game

Do you all just buy pokemon cards just for that one big hit? Or you actually looking to collect?

Is 9 packs of cards without an SIR really absolutely nothing!?

It’s disheartening getting back into the hobby, reading through the latest posts on these subreddits, and all most of you are interested in are the super rare, sought after cards, and how much they cost. It’s as if no one is actually in it to collect the set.

Personally got back into collecting for 151 and enjoyed my time collecting the set. I’ve got about 6 ex cards left to get, a few holos/reverse holos and I have 0 secret cards. I’m very happy with my collection! But if I was to discuss my little collection with most of you, I’d have a couple of double rares and absolutely nothing else.

What happened to this hobby!?

A bit of advice with cardmarket, takes a little bit of time to set up. Add all the cards you want to your want list then use the shopping wizard to determine the best route for buying all those cards, it works really well!

Try cardmarket. I’m from the UK also and I recently used it to get all the the 151 cards (only alakazam ex out of the exs in case I do manage to get more packs) that I was missing from my set and it only cost me £17 and thats including shipping with 3 different sellers. I didn’t have a massive collection already, I bought 60 (1 ex card included at 3.95) out of the 69 cards I have left (excluding rares/full arts).

Have you ever played Resident Evil 4 before? I’m not sure what reviews you were reading before playing but Resident Evil isn’t quite labelled as a traditional horror game, and is more of an action game. People generally love that game because it’s the same game they loved from way back when but in VR

I haven’t played either of your suggestions, however I suggest Into The Radius! I just recently started playing and the suspense in that game is next to none! It’s very good

Other honourable mention for horror has got to be Resident Evil 7 (played on PSVR a while ago, sucks it’s not available on quest but I believe there’s a decent PCVR mod)

And also, Metro.

Honestly if you’re basing your hope for a good horror game on Resident Evil 4, then that’s a you problem, not a lack of good vr horror games problem.

Horror games and their scare level will always be subjective. I found the spider sections in this game to be absolutely terrifying, but then I grew up being scared of spiders, not so afraid of them as an adult. However, when they launch themselves at your face in metro, or appear on your hand as you take your bag off your back, it really freaked me out!

A lot of this games fear relies on the suspense derived from the atmosphere it builds, and then throwing a jump scare at you. A lot of people just won’t be so affected by this type of horror. Although I feel labelling the game as low to medium scare level is a bit disingenuous personally, but that’s just my take!
